CH47. Don't you like him?

"Why were you mad at him?" Manager Chen asks and holds her hand.

Xiao Xiao shakes her head. "He...he...he forced...me to," she does not know how to put all these things to this older woman.

Seeing how much she struggles to explain, she waves her hand at her. "Don't you like him?"

"Huh?" Xiao Xiao chokes in her saliva and begins coughing. Like him? Why?

Manager Chen reacts faster and pats her back. "I meant, is he so bad? Do you hate him?" She corrects her statement.

She does not want to scare this little girl to her grave. 

She knows how pure Ye Xiao Xiao's heart and brain are. So it is obvious that she has not realised the young master's intentions towards her.

And she, manager Chen, who has brought up Lu Min Chen since he was young, knows him too well.

That young man had never gone near a girl. There was only a long time in the past that she heard the young young master had rescued a small girl. And that he seemed so caring towards her.

But she was on a leave to visit her relatives so she had no chance of seeing the girl.

When she came back, the young girl was already gone. And things were back to normal.

But seeing him interested in this girl now, she thinks she needs to do something. 

She can't let the young master miss his chance again. Who knows when will be his next time finding another girl interesting if he loses Xiao Xiao now? Maybe yen years later?

Xiao Xiao shakes her head. "I don't hate him. He is not so bad," she says with a sigh.

Manager Chen nods and remains quiet for a while. Then she looks at Xiao Xiao's eyes and asks, "Do you have a boyfriend?" 

Xiao Xiao who had just calmed down gets startled again. She blushes hard and shakes her head. She does not have a boyfriend.

Manager Chen smiles at her action. Just as naive as she had thought!

She holds her hands again. "Xiao Xiao, you are grown up now. And there are some things you need to know."

Xiao Xiao looks back at her in confusion. Of course she is grown up. She knows almost everything.

"You need to know if a man is good to you and his intentions. Don't be so naive," Manager Chen says.

"Mmh?" Xiao Xiao asks again. If a man is good to her? Like the young master?

"This is what I mean Xiao Xiao. Not all men who do you well have bad intentions. It is good if you find one who genuinely cares about you."

"I think young master is good to you. I have raised him and also I have been beside him all these years. He has never been good to any girl. You are the first...no...maybe second...but first in his youth," she says.

"Is it true?" Xiao Xiao asks with pursed lips. Han Chan told her that the young master has used all of them!
