CH38. Restrain from coming to my room

"I will go look for food young master," Xiao Xiao says quickly before the man gets a chance to ridicule her.

Lu Min Chen remains silent, with only a smile on his lips. Does she get angry only when she is around him?

When he does not respond, Xiao Xiao tries pushing him away. "Young master..."

"I heard you," the man replies indifferently. It is just that he is still contemplating on whether to release her or not.

Why did that stubborn stomach of hers have to interrupt such a wonderful moment for him?

He wanted to hold her a little more. He wanted to feel her in his hands. But her stomach...

Xiao Xiao remains silent when he says that he heard her. Why isn't he releasing her then? She is hungry!

"Ngrrrrr! Ngrrrr!"

Xiao Xiao freezes when her stomach refuses to behave. It can't wait any longer.

Lu Min Chen's mouth twitches. "So impatient," he says and releases her. Then he gets out of bed first.

"I will ask for your food to be brought here," he says and pulls out his phone.

"No!" Ye Xiao Xiao says immediately to stop him. "Um...I think I should just go and serve myself."

"When you are looking like this?" Min Chen asks and looks at her with ridicule. Why is she trying to be stubborn? Hasn't she eaten the food he brought her in the past?

Xiao Xiao looks at herself one time and purses her lips. "Yeah, I am good. I will be going young master," she says with a nod.

"Why are you so stubborn?" Min Chen asks. "Do you know how much it has cost me to help you get well?" 

He has had to forget about his ego and help her dealing with her menstrual. Even though he does not regret doing that, she should at least be grateful and listen to what he has to say to her.

"Um...young master, it is just that I don't want people to misunderstand. It won't be good if they got the wrong message," Xiao Xiao says worriedly. She feels guilty when he brings up the topic of him helping her.

It is not the first time the manager sees the young master in her room.

What will she do if people begin to gossip? She should care about her boss's image if she can't think about her own.

But Min Chen creases his brows. "Misunderstand what?" He asks coldly. "I am the boss here. And I do what I want," he adds rudely.

Xiao Xiao looks back at him, stubbornly too. "Young master, you won't be forcing me to eat the food you order. You are my boss, and I respect you a lot. But, could you please restrain from coming to my room in the future?"

"Excuse me?" Lu Min Chen asks her. Did she ask him not to come in her room in the future? And was she lecturing him?

"Young Master," Xiao Xiao calls again. "Please, let us agree on this. Can you not come? Or...why are you helping me so much?"
