CH366. The hug full of emotions

Lu Min Chen is taken a back. But he still holds her quickly.

However, even after some minutes have passed, she still refuses to release him. " What happened Xiao Xiao?" Lu Min Chen asks worriedly. She was not like this before.

Ye Xiao Xiao only shakes her head, but she still holds onto him tightly.

She does not know what to tell him now. In fact, there are so many things to tell him already.

"Xiao Xiao, tell me. Did something happen?" Lu Min Chen asks again, looking into her eyes.

"Nope," she shakes her head. "I am just scared. I am scared," she says repeatedly.

"What is scaring you?" Lu Min Chen asks in confusion. Is she still frightened after being kidnapped yesterday?

But the man who rescued her was her dad, even if she does note know it.

But when he thinks of asking more, Ye Xiao Xiao pulls away from him and holds his hand.

"Let us go home. I am tired," she says with a weak smile on her lips.

"Okay," Lu Min Chen nods and leads the way to the car.

Lu Min Chen only sleeps for a few minutes when. He gets a call from his men.

"Boss, Miss Lei has been rescued," the man from the other end says.

And Lu Min Chen smiles. "The chairman did it?" He asks. That was what that he has been waiting for since the beginning. Now he knows that the two people cooperated to harm his wife.

"Yeah, it is the chairman. We could not stop him," the man replies.

"It is okay," Lu Min Chen says in a bored tone. ",Just keep an eye on them."

A few days later, Lu Yu Yan is released from the hospital. But she is no longer the joyful girl she used to be.

She even refuses to talk to anyone about anything that happened. And she refuses to meet the counselling doctor.

She also refuses to go back to the old mansion. And she says that she wants to stay at Lu Min Chen's place.

And this causes a rift in the family. Her parents and brothers who flew back home immediately after they had about her begin looking at Lu Min Chen in a different light.

They even point fingers at him, blaming him for hiding some things from them.

But that does not worry Lu Min Chen. If Lu Yu Yan does not want him to speak, then he will do exactly that.

The only thing he tries is talking to her regularly. And Ye Xiao Xiao is of great help too.

When she finally goes back to the company, Ye Xiao Xiao decides to  go to the lab.

She has already lost three days. Yet she was given only two weeks to complete what that she is doing.

Lu Min Chen is shocked seeing her go there. "Xiao Xiao?" He calls and holds her hands. "Are you going back in there?"

Instead of answering him, she hugs him tightly again, the hug full of hidden emotions.
