CH356. Call him daddy

"I am sorry," Lu Min Chen apologises. He must have misunderstood him from the beginning.

"No, it is actually fine. I just thank you and that Gu boy for being there for my daughter. Thank you very much."

Lu Min Chen wants to ask about Jing, but he goes against it. 

That is not the best time for asking it.

"But please, can you help me keep my identity a secret? I am always in the hiding. And no one should find out about Xiao Xiao being my daughter. She will be in danger."

Lu Min Chen takes a few seconds to digests the words. And he nods his head in understanding. 

"Thank you..."

"Ah Chen?" A familiar voice calls from the other end of the room and the two men lift up their head to take a look.

A few minutes back, Ye Xiao Xiao opens her eyes and is slightly shocked to find herself in this strange place.

But as the events of what that had happened earlier appear in her mind, she relaxes. At least, she is safe.

Since she is not as scared as she was before, she decides to get out to at least contact Lu Min Chen.

She fell asleep in the car and she has only woken up now.

And when she gets out of the room, she sees the familiar silhouette. The silhouette of the person that she has just been thinking about.

At first, she thinks that it is just a dream, but looking carefully, it is actually him.

"Ah Chen!" She calls happily.

Lu Min Chen lifts his eyes to see her standing at the door. And all the worries he had in his heart disappear.

He stands up, and he wishes that he was able to fly to where she is.

But Ye Xiao Xiao is a step ahead of him. She runs towards him and buries her head in his chest. "Ah Chen..."

"Xiao Xiao," Lu Min Chen calls her name and hugs her tightly. "Are you okay?"

She nods her head. "I am fine. I missed you."

Ye Fu Chin just looks at them from the sides happily. He likes it when she is this excited.

But just when will she be able to hug him like that and call him daddy?

All the years of her life, she has never called him that. 

In the past, before, Ye Jing Hong died, he was always so jealous when she would happily call him daddy.

Yet, all that time, he was always in the hiding and observing them. At times,he had wanted to run to her and tell her that he was her daddy.

But he was always afraid of keeping her in danger once again . 

He wanted to see her, but he could not. He wanted to bring her home, bit still he could not.

And since her safety was more important that his heart desires, he restrained himself. He held himself back all those days.
