CH299. Be good and wait for me

"Really?" Lu Yu Yan asks and looks into his eyes.

"Really," Luoshan nods back.

"You will marry me?" 

"Of course I will. I want to be with you," he says and looks into her eyes. "Yan'er, do you trust me?" 

Yu Yan looks into his eyes and a tear falls off. "Mmh, I trust you."

He wipes away her tear. "Why are you crying now? I am here for you."

"I am happy Luoshan. You do not know how many times I have dreamt of us being together," she says and hugs him.

Yu Luoshan hugs and and kisses her cheeks. "I do not have any other woman in my life apart from you. I also knew that I had to marry you."

There is silence in the room. They only let their emotions speak through their hug. They have been in love with each other, and they still love one another.

"Yan'er, when are you planning to tell everyone about this?" Luoshan asks at last, breaking the silence.

She remains quiet, as though she is thinking about it. "As long as you are ready," she answers.

"I will marry you Yan'er, but... Can you give me some time to settle things itn my side? I want to give you the best life, okay?"

Yu Yan purses her lips, looking at him. "You are not leaving me?"

"I am not," He answers.

"How long will it take?" She asks again.

"I am not sure. I do not want to lie to you. But, I will do my best to settle as soon as possible. It is just that my life is a mess now..."

"I know," she says. She knows that he has even been avoiding to go home.

"Thank you Yan'er," Luoshan says and kisses her again.

He takes her home after breakfast, but he stops a little distance away so that they are not seen, just like Yu Yan says.

Since they will keep their relationship secret for some time, their families need to be kept out first.

This is especially for Lu Yu Yan. Her grandpa might bring trouble if he finds out that she is secretly dating.

And Lu Min Chen will be the other person. They both know that he has been trying to keep them away from each other.

Before she leaves, Luoshan holds her hands. "Yan'er, you have to know that I love you so much. You are everything to me, okay?"

She nods her head. 

"Take this," he hands her a small carton box. He prepared it before coming down to bring her home.

"What is it," she asks with curiosity. 

"You will see," he says and kisses her forehead. "Be good and wait for me."

"Okay," she says and hugs him. "I love you more."

"Okay, go. They will realise you were not home."

After she leaves, Yu Luoshan looks at her departing back with conflicted emotions.

The words that Lu Min Chen told him the other day are still fresh  in in his brain.

And her grandpa? What is he going to do. He loves her. And he wants to fight for her. He wants her to be his...
