CH271. We shall do as Xiao Xiao wants

"Okay," Lu Min Chen nods towards his parents. "We shall do as Xiao Xiao wants."

Since the two have agreed on it, the parents do not say anything more about it.

Madam Lu holds Ye Xiao Xiao's hand happily. "Now tell me Xiao Xiao, would you like to work or stay at home?"

Ye Xiao Xiao's face becomes complicated. She has married into a rich family. But she just cannot stay at home and let everything be provided for her.

What if something happens to their marriage one day and she is forced to leave? Is she going to start from one again.

"Mom," she calls and looks at Lu Min Chen fearfully.

"Yes?" Madam Lu calls and holds her hand again.

"I would so much like to work, but I have no qualifications at all."

"You do not have to worry about that," Lu Min Chen is the one who speaks. " You can start coming to the company as soon as you want."

Ye Xiao Xiao looks at her in laws and they both nod in agreement. If they decide that she should work at the company, no one will stop her.

"Thank you," Ye Xiao Xiao says with a smile. At least she can collect some money for herself instead of depending solely on Lu Min Chen.

On their first night as a married couple, Ye Xiao Xiao is partly glad that Lu Min Chen does not make any demands.

As soon as they get home, her food is brought to her room as usual.

And Lu Min Chen goes to his room too after having dinner.

She had been scared that he would force her to share a room with him or even do things that couples are supposed to do.

But he did not come to her room after he wished her a good night.

But after some time, Ye Xiao Xiao feels a little down. Does that mean that he is not even the slightest bit interested in her?

She knows that married couples do so strange things on their first night together. Even though she has been scared of that, she feels bad that the man she married does not even bother to take a glance at her.

With a downhearted spirit, she goes to bed. 'I didn't even want him to touch me,' she says in her head and closes her eyes.

What she does not know is that as soon as she fell asleep, her husband sneaked into her room and hugged her to sleep until the early morning hours.
