CH232. You have been hiding so well Yan'er

Lu Min Chen sighs, eyeing the man with anger. He just wishes that he had a gun with him. He would have shot straight at his head.

"Ah Chen, I am not feeling well. I want to go home," Ye Xiao Xiao says and wipes her tears on his chest.

Lu Min Chen hugs her back. "Where are you uncomfortable? I will take you to the hospital," he says worriedly and carries her, forgetting about the Lin Mo in the room.

Her calling him Ah Chen is enough for him to forget everything else and do as she wants.

Once in the car, he wipes away her tears carefully. "Don't cry," he says. "Hold on a bit more. I am calling the doctor."

But Ye Xiao Xiao shakes her head. "I am not sick or hurting anywhere. I want to sleep!" 

She just used that excuse because she did not want him to beat up Lin Mo.

Even if Lin Mo had wronged her, she still could not watch him being beaten up.

She has grown up with him all these years. He has never treated her like that. Maybe something was wrong with him today.

Even his words alone make her cry more. It is now that she realises how hurtful they are.

"It is okay," Lu Min Chen says and adjusts her seat to a comfortable position so that she can fall asleep.

"Mmh," Ye Xiao Xiao nods and closes her eyes. But she does not fall asleep even once.

Lin Mo's words keep ringing in her ears. And her heart turns bitter once again. 

He said that he does not want to be her brother. And that there should be nothing left between them if he is not her husband.

And he gave her one week to pay off his debt. All of it...three Million.

She stirs a little, trying to think of a way to pay it. She is clueless, and she has nothing now.

Lu Min Chen senses her movement and places his hand on her forehead, rubbing it gently.

Ye Xiao Xiao freezes a little. But she relaxes remembering that she is a asleep now.

Once Lu Min Chen has left with Ye Xiao Xiao, Lu Yu Yan and Yu Luoshan stare at each other, not sure of what to do.

Lu Yu Yan blushes and looks away immediately. "I will be going now," she says.

But Luoshan stops her by holding her hand. "You have been hiding so well Yan'er," he says with a smile on his lips.

He remembers how she worriedly ran to him when Lu Min Chen knocked him over. 

It made him feel like she cares about him. And he was greatly touched.

Lu Yu Yan shivers a little, and she looks away again. She is just  scared of being close to him again. 

The other time, at the party, he had kissed her. And she still remembers it so clearly.

"Yan'er," Luoshan calls and turns her face so that she is looking at him. "Are you scared of me? Look at me," he says. But his heart is thudding aloud. He has the chance of seeing her today.
