CH219. Not coming

...

President Lu Min Chen is in his office, but his mind keeps wandering from time to time. He left someone at home, and she was going on a date with another man today.

He uses all of his energy to remain seated and continue working. His mom said he should not restrict her from meeting whoever she wants to meet.

He calls the butler. "Where is she?" He asks, not mentioning anyone's name at all.

The butler coughs awkwardly, " She has just left the house one hour ago."

"Okay," Lu Min Chen replies. Her dates with Lin Mo have never bounced. She has to go no matter whom she is offending.

"Young Master, should I send someone to look for her?" The butler asks. He is also worried. 

He saw her go into another man's car happily. The young master will die of anger if he ever learns of this.

He prays that she comes back home before the young master does. Or it will bring another misunderstanding between the two.

"Nope," Lu Min Chen replies. "Don't send anyone. Just inform me when she comes back."

"Okay," Butler Hu says and waits for the young master to hang up.

But he becomes worried again. Is the young master giving up on her? He has been chasing her for a very long time. 

And now, even though he questions of her whereabouts, he seems less worried about who she is meeting.

He sighs and goes back to his work. Those two should just be let to the heavens. No one else is capable of deciding their fate.

Just as Lu Min Chen places his phone down. He gets another call. He looks at the caller for three seconds before assuming it.

But a few minutes later, he gets the same call.

"What is up?" He asks when he picks up.

"You... What kind of friend are you? You are always hanging up on me. What if I was in danger and needed your help?" Yu Luoshan asks from the other end.

"People don't get into danger at such a time. I am busy, what do you want?" Lu Min Chen asks hurriedly.

"I now regret my decision over the choice of a friend," Yu Luoshan says in a crying tone.

"I am hanging up," Lu Min Chen states when his friend still does not say what he wants.

"Okay, don't hang up," Luoshan says hurriedly. "I am at our old place. Would you join me for a drink?" He asks.

"What time is it?" Lu Min Chen questions as though Luoshan is a fool. "Not everyone is as idle as you."

"Not coming?" Luoshan asks calmly. He wants to see how this friend of his will get out of this today.

"Not coming," Lu Min Chen replies. And it is understandable. He agrees to meet his friends on very rare occasions.

"What if I told you that I saw your loving future wife enter a private room with a man?" Luoshan asks him tauntingly.

"Xiao Xiao?" Lu Min Chen asks immediately he hears that. "You saw her?"
