CH195. He did not come back at all

In the middle of the night when a certain person is deep asleep, Lu Min Chen walks into the room.

He stands by the the bed tensely, looking at the small sleepy face covered in tears.

Slowly, he bends towards the person and wipes away the tears gently, gentleness that he has never shown to anyone else before.

'Why can't you just become mine Ye Xiao Xiao?' he asks in his mind. 

It will be so great if he ever has her as his, solely his. Then he might get the chance to embrace her and love her as much as he likes.

He wishes that time would go back to what it was those years in the orphanage.

He was the only man ever allowed close to her at that time. That is apart from her brother.

He would have a good chat with her and not worry about anyone ever taking her away from him.

But all that changed that day he left her at home and allowed her to be taken away by his grandpa.

He should have stayed and watched over her until he handed her to her dad. He should not have trusted his parents.

Maybe, she would still be happy with him. She would be his childhood sweetheart, since they would have grown up together.

Lu Min Chen gets to bed beside her and hugs her body tightly. She is the only thing he hopes for in this life.

She is the thing that he wants to get close to. She is the thing he wants to fight for so much.

However, she does not give him any chance to do any of them. It seems like she does not even see him as a person, or a man at all.

'I don't want to force you into doing anything Xiao Xiao. I just want us to have a thing in common. When will you ever give me the chance?'

Even though Lu Min Chen wants to hug her to bed like this for a longer time, he still pulls away.

He kisses her forehead adorably. "Have a good sleep my dear lovely wife," he says before walking away reluctantly.

Ye Xiao Xiao only opens her eyes at around noon. 

She freezes for a second when she realises that she is in a different room, one bigger that hers.

But quickly, the events of last night appear in her head. Her heart does a little skip when she remembers how she ended up here.

She looks around the room with eyes full of expectations.

'Hmmm, he did not come back at all,' she says in her head with a hurt look on her face.

But she smiles again when she realises her situation. 

'Are you mad Ye Xiao Xiao? When did you begin to expect him back?' she asks and gets up from the bed.

'He will never care about my feelings at all. I must have eaten something bad to make me think that he will ever come back.'
