CH163. She just feels bad

Ye Xiao Xiao's heart thuds a little when she hears him. He is actually getting engaged. He is going to be with another woman.

The thought hurts her, but she does not know the reason why. She just feels bad. And she wants to tell herself that Han Chan is not good enough for Lu Min Chen.

But if Han Chan is not good enough for him, who is? Her? Ha ha ha! That is a great joke.

The people clap happily. The young master Lu is finally getting engaged.

She walks back to the crowd and watches angrily. Her brother actually agreed to get engaged to Han Chan. What will happen to Ye Xiao Xiao then? Are they going to lose her just like that?

She wishes that she had the power of getting rid of that Han Chan. How dare she want the position that should belong to Ye Xiao Xiao?

"Okay, everything is ready," Old Lu says. "The to be bride will be assisted onto the stage by her friend," he says and shoots an evil grin at Ye Xiao Xiao.

He wants to see how she will be able to tag behind his grandson. She should know that the Lu family has no place for lowly people like her.

Ye Xiao Xiao feels like her heart is being pierced by a knife. She swallows hard. She wishes she had not agreed to do it.

She walks beside Han Chan, her enemy, as they march towards the stage.

There is a loud applause from the crowd as people clap and say how  much Han Chan is blessed to get engaged to young master Lu Min Chen.

However, something different happens. Lu Min Chen takes the make ring and puts it on his finger by  himself, startling everyone. Wasn't the female supposed to put it on him.

Then he takes the female one and walks towards the two. Everyone that had been shocked before comes back to their senses and begin cheering again.

This man usually has his own way of doing things.
