CH138. Save her!

Three years later, on a Sunday night, Lu Min Chen received a call from his friend, GU Han Ting.

"Ting," Lu Min Chen said once he picked up. They became good friends from that time, all with the intention of protecting Ye Xiao Xiao.

"Chen, save her!" GU Han Ting said in a pleading voice. "Can you?"

"What happened?" Lu Min Chen asked in fear. 

"We shall talk later. Save her first please. She will be along the Hongze road. She is in danger!" GU Han Ting replied immediately.

"What about you? Where are you?" Lu Min Chen asked as his heart began beating fast. The two are in danger.

"I am trying to confuse them. Please, I can only rely on you now," GU Han Ting said. "They are here. I have no time."

Lu Min Chen immediately called his driver and asked him to drive to Hongze road. He was a bit scared. Ye Xiao Xiao and his friend were in danger.

And reaching the spot, he found a young girl by the road alone. She was crying while looking around, and shaking in fear.

He got out of the car. But when Ye Xiao Xiao saw him, she ran towards him and hugged him. "Ah Chen, save brother Ting."

"I know," Lu Min Chen had said and taken her to his car. "Where did he go?"

She pointed ahead of her on the road. "They were running after him."

Lu Min Chen asked his driver to take the route she had shown. He had to protect him.

But after driving only a few meters, he received Gu Han Ting's call. "Chen, go away with her. Don't find me. Please, save her..." It was followed by gunshots and his loud scream. Then everything went silent. 

Lu Min Chen opened his eyes wide. Was he shot?

"Ah Chen, where is brother Ting?" Ye Xiao Xiao asked while crying. "Save him."

"It is late Xiao Xiao. He will be okay," Lu Min Chen tried to comfort her.

But she just kept crying. "I am scared Ah Chen," she said.

"I am here. No one will hurt you. Tell me, what happened?"

The girl tried telling him everything while in tears.

That morning,when everyone else was at the service, Gu Han Ting had visited her. But he seemed so worried.

"Brother Ting, are you okay?" Ye Xiao Xiao had asked. Today, he did not bring her any snack.

GU Han Ting had held her hand fearfully. "Xiao Xiao, this orphanage is not safe. Do you trust Brother Ting?" He asked her.

"What do you mean brother Ting?" She had asked back. This had been her home since young.

"Ye Xiao Xiao, I am your brother, your brother. My name is Ye Han Ting. Do you understand it?"

The girl had taken a long time before she understood him. She had thought she did not have any relative.

"People want to kill you. Do you want me to protect you?" He had asked her again.

"Kill me? I don't want to die. Take me away," she had said and began crying.

"Okay,stop crying. I will come for you at night. Don't sleep here tonight. Wait until I come okay?" 

Even though Ye Xiao Xiao was not sure, she still nodded her head.
