Cypher VS. The Twin Dragons

Cypher ran towards where the scent became more powerful. The skill he was using was currently taking 1 Energy Per minute so he had to be quick. The way his skill worked was like locating a thread that became bigger the closer he got to the source but in this case, there were two. The Skill told him that it was male and a female but nothing about their age.

He was getting closer and closer to them with every passing second, heading to a secluded part of the city which was rare for this large city which its population almost reached a million.

The reason for this was because this was where most of the gangs known as the Versatile Gangs hung out at. This gang wasn't like any typical gang of ruffians but a group who had access to Advanced technology. They were one of the reasons why the Gyro existed.

Cypher saw two figures standing on a tall and wide 30 floor skyscraper. The sky scraper was out of shape with it being unpainted, giving a strange black and most of the windows were broken.

He could see them because he himself was now on the sky scraper and could get a better look at who he was going up against.

His skill had been spot on, he was going up against a male and a female. But upon closer inspection, Cypher's eye twitched.

'They're kids.'

He looked at the boy. The boy was wearing what looked like an orange chestpiece with an engraved bodiless dragon flying up diagonally on it. He was wearing dark red trousers or more of leggings since they were made of metal upon closer look. His boots were also made of dark red metal. Then for his face, he looked to be not that older than thirteen, he hard dark red hair, dark brown skin and fierce blue eyes that made him look older.

The girl on the other hand was wearing a short orange dress with the same dragon engraved on it and also made of metal. She also had a black belt on her waist with long red boots, also metallic. She had the same look as the boy next to her, making Cypher think they were twins. Red hair, a lighter hue in two small pigtails that resided at the side of her ears and rested on her shoulders.

"Zin, you were right! He did follow us!" The boy said to the girl, jumping up and down in excitement like a kid.

"Of course I was. But we couldn't have gotten his attention without you using the tracking pad on where his most likely location was. So thank you, Zay." Zin replied to her brother with a smile.

The both of them then faced Cypher as if they had forgetten about him and had just remembered.

'Or maybe they did just forget?' Cypher thought.

"Hey there, Cypher!" Zay said with a confident smile.

"Ughh, who are you guys? I just want to know so I know what to do to you two." He asked them.

"You can try all you want but you're not gonna win. Anyways, we're the Twin Dragons and we've been sent to collect something from you." Zin said, running forward to Cypher.

"Okay, little ki.. ah!" Cypher was hit in the stomach with the hilt of something. He didn't even know when she had closed the distance between them.

'Aren't those just normal metal boots?' Cypher thought, thinking of how she could have possibly gotten so close to him.

'And what was that hilt?' Cypher thought about what had hit him in the stomach and it felt like the hilt of a sword or dagger.

The girl took advantage of this and raised the hilt up, she turned over the weapon she was holding and revealed a long dark red blade of a slightly long left-sided sword. She thrusted it forward towards Cypher but the latter moved his own black sword in that direction.

*CLANK

The sound of metals hitting each other resonated through the night. Apparently, neither's sword was budging the others. They were at a stalemate.

"Do you want me to help?!" Zay asked from behind, his arms folded on his chest.

"No!" Zin moved her shin down and then raised it up while moving her other leg forward, gaining more momentum.

"I don't need it." She said with a grin as her thrust moved Cypher's black sword away and then her blade made contact and grazed the part of his head between his eyes.

Cypher ducked down as her sword lost contact with his skin and then kicked her away towards her brother but he caught her in time.

"How dare you touch my sist.. Huh?" Zay saw Cypher losing his footing until he actually fell off the edge of the building himself.

"Hahaha!" The ones who called themselves the Twin Dragons laughed at him.

Meanwhile, Cypher was falling down the high building. He gave a mental command so he could switch forms.

Quickly, ice released from his feet and allowed him to stand on the building. He then began to skate up with the ice while also asking the Manga Watch a question.

"Hey, Manga Watch. Why did I lose my footing?" He asked and he quickly received a voice message.

"What?!" Cypher exclaimed at the number but then had another reason to shout as he saw a large beam of shards coming towards him. It looked as large as a hut with multiple shards sticking it from both the back and front, making it look like a comet coming at him.

The crimson ball of fire energy was released from his right hand and collided with the ice blast. Apparently, the two were almost even so only steam was created along with a repulsive force that blasted Cypher off the building. During the fall, his hand had scraped the side of the broken glass that had passed through his full body blue suit.

Before he could land on the ground, Cypher created a green portal which opened up on top of the building close to the skyscraper.

"Manga watch ,gasps, please show me my Energy." He said as he inhaled and exhaled excessively.

"Oh, man! Where did that ice blast even come from? I can't win this one!"Cypher exclaimed.

Just then, Zin appeared behind him and she aimed her sword at his side. Cypher couldn't block it in time and was sliced but a sensation made his blood boil.

'Why was that so hot?!' He thought about the blade she was holding.

'What the heck was that?" Cypher thought but he had bigger problems to worry about.

'Don't heal it.' Cypher commanded.

Before he knew it, she was in front of him, her arm leaning on her brother's shoulder with her other hand lazily holding her sword. The sword had some of Cypher's blood on it. Cypher also noticed that Zay also had a sword of his own.

'Is that where that ice attack came from? Who gave these kids such powerful items? These swords are magnificent. Not even the Gyro have anything like this. At least not something I know of.' He thought.

His thoughts were quickly interrupted when the Twin Dragons shot two slices made of fire and ice each towards Cypher in a diagonal manner.

'This is bad.' They were quite a far distance from Cypher but not too far for him to see the incoming attacks.

'Finral's Portal right now can't take attacks and I can't think of anyone with such a powerful defense'

Before the attacks came towards him which had already halved the distance, someone had arrived. It was a bulky man with blue dyed short hair with blue eyes. He had a light blue mustache that stretched a bit down to his chin. He wore an intricately designed blue suit that covered almost his entire body except for short sleeves with a few black trims on his body and G boldly written on the chest. On his waist, he had a white belt holding a kind of metallic box.

He didn't seem to have noticed Cypher or had just disregarded him because as he arrived, in a split second, he had reached into the metallic box and pulled out a pair of black daggers. He used one of the daggers to cut through the slices of fire and ice energy and the other which had dispersed the remaining energy and directed it into the sky. He then closed the distance between him and the Twin Dragons in less than two seconds.

'How did he get here?' The two thought, recognizing him as a member of the Gyro and a high ranked one at that because of his extraordinary speed and precision.

The member of the Gyro threw out the dagger in his right hand towards Zay who had tried to counter but his sword had just raised up into the air. The Gyro member then threw his daggers into the air and ducked when he felt Zin's sword about to strike him with fire energy.

He then jumped on top of Zin's shoulder...

"Ah! Those boots were heavy!!" Zay screamed out.

The Gyro member had grabbed the dagger which he had thrown rather high into the air. He then quickly threw one towards Zin and Zay when he felt a beam of fire and ice coming towards him. His dagger had touched the border point between the two energies and immediately it made contact, they both dispersed and created a force of energy that Zin and Zay were pushed back by, causing them to fall down the building.

The Gyro member walked up to the edge of the building and saw them falling but a portal was already made down below.

' We didn't get the Watch but at least we got the power source we came for." Zin thought, recalling when she quickly placed a power drainer on Cypher and took it off when she sliced his side before.

As the two were about to jump into the portal, the Gyro member made a statement.

"Tell the Curse the Gyro are gonna take them down." He said and the twins looked at each other.

"We're not from the Curse!" They said with looks of disgust towards the accusation as they dissappeared into the portal.

"Who are you?" Cypher asked as the man turned towards him. His handsome features looked even more handsome as he stood by the moon which illuminated his hair and eye color.

"Just be lucky I didn't try to arrest you." He said as he jumped off the building.

Cypher ran to the edge of the building to look for him but didn't see him anywhere.

"Please, Manga Watch. Heal my wounds." Cypher commanded and it was done. He felt a whole lot better after

He had enough energy and more to get back. He had been out for just about eleven minutes but he felt like he had been fighting for two days.

"Neo's gonna be so pissed with me when I tell them." Ryan said as he went through the green portal.
