Akbar - Indian ruler who established the mughal empire in India. He had given thrown in just age of 14 after his father's death. He was very controversial ruler in indian history.. Although he tried to unite two religion to live peacefully.. But still taken some decisions that goes against the citizens at that time..in future.Currently he was 24 year old and just had political marriage with rajput princess jodha, he is very cruel, arrogant in nature have many around 5000 ladies in his harem, he love to collect all the beautiful things in his possession and beautiful jodha was his current obsession. 

Jodha - age 18 .she was one of the most beautiful princess at her time that's why akbar try to collect in his harem. Just married akbar to save her state and her citizens from having war.. Love to study and proficient in music and dance.. But hate akbar the most.. But eventually as story progress... The love story between them blossom and she became the last wife and queen mother of india and gave birth to only son and next king of india. 

Rukiya - first wife of abkar who got married in just 9 year of age,. She was his cousin.. She is very Aggressive, jealous in nature. She has command of akbar's harem and his lady.. Even though jodha later produces the heir.. But she still hold great command in akdha ( jodha + akbar)story.

Mahamanga ( maham) - nanny of akbar. Who raise him stone hearted person and cruel ruler,.. She has given posion to all ladies so that they won't birth the heir.. She only desire to control him.
