The next thing Leon knew, he was lying down on the cold surface of the ground, with the rough earth grazing his cheek.
The sensation felt so real, that it instantly jolted his mind from whatever state it was in, and his eyes snapped back open.
Leon gasped in shock, his eyes widening in shock as he stared at the dirt beneath his face.
He slowly placed his palms on the ground, using them to feel the firmness of the earth beneath him.
And to his surprise and relief, he could actually feel it! Ever better than he had ever did before.
The cool, hard texture of the ground reassured him that none of this was a dream, and he was really back… to the real world.
Normally, touched the dirty ground like this would repulse him, something he would have never found himself doing.
However, after coming back from getting wiped out of existence, even the rough feeling of the earth brought great joy to him.
