XIII- Are We in a Romantic Novel?

Spending the entire day lining up before we can try a ride each time made me stressed and exhausted. We didn't even tried half of the rides because of too long queue everytime because it was always crowded with couples. I just sit down at a bench after riding the roller coaster when Kazuya suddenly disappeared and when he came back, he was carrying a tray full of snacks and drinks.

"It's almost time for dinner so I bought some snacks." he placed the tray in the bench between us before he seats down.

"Thanks." I started eating and it was a little awkward because none of us speaks after that.

I just realized that we barely converse since we enter the amusement park maybe because we both didn't realize that today is the Valentine's Day until we arrived here. I wanted to start a conversation to break the silence between us so I have to think of a good topic, and so I accidentally used my ability.

Ferris Wheel 97%

Horror Booth 9%

Game Booth 76%

As expected, the ferris wheel attracted most of the couples having their dates and because it will be a good spot to watch the fireworks display later. The Horror Booth seems to be the most convenient place to go without any couples lurking around and so I decided to be there during the fireworks.

"Suzuki-kun let's go to the Horror Booth next, it is not crowded like the other places here."

His expression suddenly changes and it seems that he is not a fan of scary things.

"I'm sorry to ask this but are you afraid?"he turned his gaze away and answered with a very low voice and I didn't even heard his first words.

"...ask. Ahh yes, actually I easily get scared so I can't."

"Oh is that so, then how about the Mirror Hou..."

"Let's ride the Ferris wheel." I was cut off when he suddenly said it with a loud voice.

Eh? Did he enjoyed lining up for too long and now he wants to try to line up to the longest waiting line inside this park? A 97% probability of having to line up for almost an hour is too much for me so I have to change his mind.

"But the line is too long, and we can just enjoy other things here instead of waiting for hours there."

"That's not a problem because" he smiled and stand up as if he is very proud of what he is going to say, "I already reserved our seat in the ferris wheel later during the fireworks "

What he said makes no sense at all. I never heard of anyone reserving a seat to a ferris wheel even in the TV shows or manga so how can it be possible?

"You're just joking right?"

"No, I'm serious Shinobu-san, we don't have to line up there because I already talked to the staff."

"What? Is that even possible."

"Actually the staff in charge of that ride is one of my colleague from my previous work and we are close to each other so he told me that he can let us ride without waiting in the line."

"But what if it cause a ruckus to the people waiting when they see us riding straight?"

"Don't worry, he told me to use the backdoor so nobody will see us entering straight."

It seems that he was already prepared for the ride and so I have no choice but to get along with it, although I'm still preparing myself in case other people get angry with us.

After we finished eating all the snacks, we headed straight to the staff door and managed to avoid people from noticing and we finally reached the front of the riding area.

"Kazuya perfect timing. Did you know that your position in the rotation during the ride will be on top when the fireworks display starts."

"Really?! Thanks bro, I owe you this one." he shakes his hand and happily stepped into our cable car. When I make my first step inside, I suddenly saw another probability without even asking about anything.

Unexpected Surprise 100%

The whole ride is approximately will last for almost half an hour and it was really accurate just like what the staff said, the fireworks started when we are at the very top. The view was perfect and I think this kind of setting will be perfect for a couple having their date instead of two guys like us.

I was too focused watching and I didn't notice that Kazuya stand up from his seat so I was surprised when he suddenly whispered in my ear.

"Shinobu-san, I ..... you" his words became blurred midway so I didn't understand what he was saying so I turned my head to ask but "What did you s..." our lips met accidentally.

I backed away immediately and I saw that his whole face turned red.

"Shinobu-san I like you! Let me be your boyfriend!" he blurted out and then he almost fall down the floor when our cable car shakes a little because of his sudden movements.

Is he acting on impulse again just like the last time he asked me to be his friend?
