A cat came to visit
'I wonder how long its been?'
Actually, I know how long had passed, it was my obsession with normalcy that prompted such questions.
I got out of the room leaving Alea's room and headed towards the study. Being a kingdom's nuclear weapon couldn't help me in continuing my unemployment. I stepped through the comically large doors and sat on the bench to start working on the mountains of papers piled up.
"ӜҨӠ ӠҨӜ ӜҨ ҨӜ" A spark lit up before I felt a small chunk of my mana fizzle away and form a computer. I held out the scanner beside me and got to work with the papers.
"The finance minister would probably have a stroke if he sees this…" I chuckled a bit while working, reminiscing about our meeting.
'Hmm…..should I blow up another city?' The thought abruptly sprang up like a wild goose. It hasn't been an entire day yet, so the enemies are probably on edge. They had just witnessed a cataclysm take place after all…
"Agrona is probably keeping a close watch on this continent right now." I spoke up to seemingly no one before looking up. "Shouldn't you be focusing on that instead?" I smiled a little after saying so.
"You think too highly of yourself to assume I wouldn't notice you."
*Meow*
The black cat with starry eyes gazed at me silently before licking its paw.
"How long did you stop time for?" I asked with my arms crossed under my chin. "For a stray cat, you smell awfully nice."
*Meow*
"There's also your fur which seems cleaner than household cats. If you still insist on keeping up that pathetic attempt of disguise, should I kill you with a fireball?" Without my notice…..oh who am I kidding, of course I noticed the edge of my lips curl up. It was damn fun to diss on a 'deity' knowing I can get away with it.
"Your insolence knows no bounds, lesser." A heavy pressure descended inside the room, breaking my precious bottle of wine on the top shelf.
"Is that supposed to do something other than damaging my property?" I asked him in a jovial tone, causing his brows to left up in surprise.
….I'll burn your eyebrow one day.
"Virion told me you were exceptional, but it seems he made an understatement."
"The books told me about deities, but it seems the authors made an overstatement."
The verbal jab seems to have worked its magic as I saw his mana flare up a smidgen and time stop in its tracks.
Crrrrr—!
The colors split into a spectrum and the fabric of space broke into pieces before rearranging themselves into its initial form. And my guest Windsom found himself back in his position, as if he never moved towards me to grab my neck.
""How?"" Our words synchronized, eliciting another shock within him.
"Aether arts won't make you invincible, lizard."
There was a plethora of ways this meeting could have underwent. I could've showed them how useful I am to gather information by getting inside their kingdom. I could've sworn loyalty to make them let their guard down and stab them in the back. But this agro I pulled was the most irrational choice.
Did I regret it?....
Absolutely not! Where else can I get a fun fight!

The citizens and soldiers in the capital ceased their tasks and gazed up at the sky.
"The sun …. is Shaking."
Just as the sword master training in the palace ground said, the sun was shaking unsteadily.
At his words, the people's faces near him darkened quickly.
"Fear not, we all know how strong the lances are. I'm sure they're on their way to stop whatever this is."
As he spoke to console the people near him, the soldiers chimed in.
'Yes, we have white core mages among us.'
'Maybe this is the due to them sparring seriously for once?'
Although their words were hopeful.
"...."

From the uppermost level of the already devastated palace, an overwhelming fusion of deep blue and golden energy unfurled in all directions.
The combined pressure made the people nauseous just by gazing at it.
"Ugh….uh"
"Just a little more."
This powerful energy extended far beyond the sky, making it impossible to determine where it began and ended. It was later recounted as visible not only in the Elenoir kingdom but also in Sapin and Darv.
Surprisingly, the other mages along with lances immediately showed up and casted barriers to protect the capital.
Alea held out a long scroll scribbled in complex formulations and tore it in one second, creating a colossal barrier dispersing the waves of golden and blue mana striking down at them.
Even with the combined efforts of so many mages and lances, they could only block it temporarily.
Shaaa—!
"Huh…blood?"
A mage questioned as she noticed the drops of blood dripping on her hands, before it started raining.
The sun had stopped shaking, and a downpour started abruptly, mixed with red blood.
"This is fun."
"I commend you for holding on so far lesser, but this is as far as you can get with your delusions."
'Heh…'
"Why did the chicken cross the road?" I saw his muscled contract, shifting to a form for killing in one strike.
"Because it saw a lizard!" A quick chant left my breath and I felt my body get lighter.
Photonization.
A better form of teleportation that works just as fast as blink but more cost efficient and better range. The surroundings bent inward as I zoomed through the space between us and arrived in front of him.
Of course Windsom, was not incompetent enough to not understand what I was doing, but his lizard brain can never replicate it…
"Kaboom bitch" I felt my palm burn, revealing the charred bone as a ball of plasma came out and struck him.
The force of my enhanced body and magic strengthening, coupled with abnormal heat made the lizard vomit blood on my shoulder as my fist embedded deep inside him.
'…You could say I brutally fisted him.'
