James then wondered how magic worked in this world and asked the system.

After hearing the systems response he then looked at Frederick and asked if he could cast a spell that would drop them right outside the closest town in the Tulia dynasty ,which according to the system map was Black iron town.
Frederick immediately responded with a yes and cast a spell and in the blink of an eye they were standing at the edge of the forest basically 3km away from a town that could be seen in the distance.
Before proceeding James suddenly remembered something very important, money.He would probably not be allowed into the town without paying a toll fee like all those isekai novels he read.
He summoned eight coin bags and then summoned 500 silver and 50 gold coins for everybody and 1000 silver, 500 gold and 50 platinum coins for himself.
The group then made their way to the towns gate and were greeted by four burly guards that only have a cultivation of level 1. One of the guards approached him and said it was 20 bronze for the entrance fee to the town, which they paid.
When they got into the town the first thing that greeted their eyes was the poverty stricken locals, just from looking you could tell that this town was in a mess, but that wasn't his business right now.
James quickly asked the nearest person were the most expensive inn was and went on his way, usually he would try to keep a low profile and wouldn't want unnecessary attention but seeing the state of the town he decided against staying in a normal inn as he guessed to conditions there would be below par.
They finally made their way to the Black bear inn and went to the front desk ,from first impressions the inn seems decent. After reaching the front desk they were greeted by a young girl of about 18-19 years of age going of looks, the girl then introduced herself as Elma. James wasn't interested in hearing more as he had planning to do so he simply asked for 8 rooms to which Elma gave a price of one silver coin per night, which would be expensive for some people but not him, so he paid for seven nights for everyone and told them to meet him outside by 9am tomorrow.
After settling down in his room James made up his mind to see the baron in charge of the town. He had changed his mind, originally he thought of creating his own kingdom but now after seeing the condition of the town he decided it would be better to try and buy this town from the baron.
James recently found out from the system that in this world noble titles can be traded. After hearing what the system said he decided he would just by the barons noble title since he has basically infinite funds, A noble title comes with a magic certificate which the seller and the buyer would exchange through the use of magic, for this reason all nobles have to be atleast level 1 mages otherwise the exchange can't happen.
After making up a plan in his head he decided to practice his magic, he then imagined a small fireball in his hands and cast it ,then he checked his status.
