Little did Li Shu know that she was making excuses for Chen Jianmin. She doesn't find him disgusting or hate him when she suspects him of doing something bad. Instead, she worried that he would get into trouble if he did so.

She was busy and didn't have time to think deeply about her unusual behavior. It was not until midnight that the villagers finally returned home. 

Seeing the tired look on her Grandpa's face, Li Shu locked the door, and then walked to her Grandpa. She massaged her grandfather's shoulder and asked, "Grandpa, what's wrong with the villagers?"

Dr. Xie looked at the patient's condition record he had written and said, "Judging from the symptoms, they seem to have food poisoning. But there is nothing strange about their food."

"Grandpa, maybe they eat poisonous mushrooms," Li Shu said.
