Chapter 126: Just Kidding

Li Qiang lifted the hand that she had squeezed lightly, stroking her silky hair tenderly, petting it repeatedly, which quickly made Song Lili grow sleepy. Yawning wearily, a tear slipped from the corner of her eye.

"Tired?" Li Qiang stood up, picked her up, and placed her neatly on the bed, then he too lay down, but he didn't cover himself with the blanket. Instead, he draped the whole blanket over Song Lili, even tucking the corners in considerately.

"Qiang, you are really sweet..." Her voice was thick with sleepiness and she let out another yawn.

"Just close your eyes and sleep, I'll tell you a story," Li Qiang said, his voice soft and gentle.

Song Lili murmured a soft "mm-hm" and closed her heavy lids.
