Chapter 6

*Time skip 6 years - General POV*

289 AC

After 6 years of hard work from the three conspirators, they were able to remove Septa Mordane from Winterfell without her being the wiser.

The Starks had welcomed another Child Sansa Stark who was born 3 years ago and Catelyn was pregnant with another that could be born at any minute.

Within the training yard of Winterfell, 3 young boys could be seen sparing with wooden dummies.

All three showed great promise, Jon and Robb were about equal whereas Cyrus just seemed to learn at an exceptional speed.

Little did people know, Cyrus had awoken his system and game memories at the age of 5. He still had no idea he was in Game of Thrones or even that he was special, he never believed his animal friends when they constantly warned him to not show off.

But when he awoke on his 5th name day he saw words floating in his vision.

*Flashback*

<Welcome host to your World of Warcraft system>

<Congratulations to making it to your 5th birthday>

<Host will receive his starter pack he was gifted>

<After opening the starter pack, the host will be left to his own devices. The system will only display stats, achievements and titles. No further interactions will occur.>

<Do you wish to open starter pack?>

<Y / N>

Stunned at what he read and saw, unsure of what to do, he threw a pillow over at Robb.

After being nailed right in is face as he slept, Robb was startled away.

"What the hell Cy, what was that for? I was having a good dream."

Looking over at his brother Cyrus with fake anger, trying to use it as a distraction to launch the pillow back at him as payback.

It pinged off Cyrus head falling to the floor, Cyrus was too busy reading the print over and over waiting to see if it went away. But hearing Robbs laughter after he was hit by something, brought him out of his focus.

Not sure how to word it so it didn't make him sound crazy, he's seen a couple crazies before when he strolled around the forest with his friends. They always started screaming about some demon and ran off all weird, later he'd see them being carried off by his fathers bannermen and he never saw them again.

He definitely didn't want to go where every crazy was taken. He didn't want to see demons, they seemed terrifying from those expressions.

So he carefully worded his question, "Hey Robb, do you see anything strange in this room?"

Seeing the expression on his brother's face, and his strange behavior a mischievous idea came to him, so with a straight face he said.

"Of course I see something weird you idiot."

But seeing the expression of joy suddenly appear Robb couldn't hold his straight face so he quickly finished. "You! HA HA HA"

Immediately after hearing Robb the look of joy vanished, instead of joy it was replaced with understanding instead.

That expression quickly got replaced with a smile.

"Oh Ha Ha very funny. So what do you think pop got us?"

*Flashback End*

So after realizing there was something to what the animals had been telling him he hid the full extent of what he knew, especially after opening up that starter pack.

He gained the class knowledge of each class as well as access to the talent trees to each class and 12 free talent points as level 1.

He saw all the gear he had available in his inventory but he didn't meet the level requirements even for the Tier 1 dungeon set he had to be at least 10 to even equip his weakest set armor. Same for his weapons he doesn't really have anything worthwhile for under level 10.

And he had noticed he wasn't given any of his heirlooms except for a ring that did give a boost to experience by 15%.

Sure a boost is a boost, but if I had all the heirlooms together the boost would've been more like double, but hey 15% is better than 0%.

So after deciding and remembering his build for each class. He now knew that dual spec wasn't available, but he was thankful for somehow him having those extra 4 should give him dual spec in 4 of the 8 classes he had available.

Because he dropped the other classes his memory of those classes where erased.

Since there was no reset option at higher levels like when he played the game he had to basically due this on hard mode by already having to implement the end game best build after you got the gear to make your build perfect.

Luckily he already had the gear he just couldn't use it till he reached 70 which was the level cap.

His RPG OCD kicked in having him mumbling and scribbling things on papers no one understood for a week before he went back to his usual self.

His parents and Maester Luwin fully aware of that period of time, due to being unsure of how to handle the situation, decided against prying but Maester Luwin made sure to carefully watch where Cyrus left those scribbles so he could study it.

He was fascinated by what he was looking at but from what it looked like it some sort of tree that looked like it worked its way down and some of the things listed were quite freighting if they matched its name such as [Slaughtering Strike] [Poison Bomb] amonst others.

He also didn't bring anything up during their studies to Cyrus, all had agreed to not push Cyrus to reveal anything unless he began openly displaying magic.

Thankfully he never did do it openly, except fot occasional person stumbling upon him walking around surrounded by his direwolf, shadowcat and a large bear thru the forest talking to the animals.

They where quickly brought away given a dose of milk of the poppi and taken off and sent to a village with a job set up farther north to keep word from heading south.

Due to his age he wasn't able to level up and wasn't about to kill any of his friends just to level up. But there were other things he could practice safely but his strength and mana just wasn't there yet. He was only 6 anyway, what he did practice was with swords, daggers, axes, spears and two handed weapons increaseing his proficiency in bows. He decided against the gun for now until he could at least make his own but he had one of this starter guns he had ready just in case. Can never be too careful.

As time went on word of the Greyjoys rebelling against Robert had reached Winterfell, as well as report of Ironborn raiding coastal villages in the North.

The day the raven from Kings Landing arrived at Winterfell, Eddard already had called the bannermen to retaliate against the Ironborn and get them out of the North.

A little upset that they had to follow the tune to the southern king, the bannermen still just left it to grumbles. There respect for Eddard Stark the only thing keeping these Lords from writing back what they really wanted.

Eddard too a little off put from Robert since that day, the sight of the children and mother with Robert laughing still haunt his dreams at times. Especially the days that the three laying on the ground turned into his own two sons and his wife Catelyn.

But seeing no issue with answering King Roberts call since they would be attacking the squids either way.

That was all that really mattered to the northerns anyway. They were getting tired of the Ironborn and their iron price. This isn't the first time the Iron Islands have rebelled against the Iron Throne, and unless they completely destroyed house Greyjoy this would continue to happen in the future.

The Greyjoy motto said it all about them very accurately, 'We Do Not Sow'.

They pillage everything. Even the wood to build ships. Multiple times they have been found cutting down trees on Bear Island. Most going unnoticed while others they were able to either completely wipe them out but usually a portion would escape back to the Iron Islands only to return with another fleet weeks later.

The North was ready for payback,

"The North Remembers" a very infamous word heard by those who wrong or cheat a northerner.

Infamous for its truth, many a merchant has been either outright banned from the North or nobody bought any of their goods after having a bad deal with a Northerner.

Many in the south seeing northerners as stupid barbarians, but they weren't stupid in any way. No they were just honest to a fault and honorable, they didn't play games and tournaments like the southerns.

They were rough and rugged due to the harsh environment the northerners dealt with. But with those struggles also came comrodery and fellowship. They endured the long harsh winters together.

While southerners fought and vied for power over each other, the North not only remembered who had done them wrong, but also the true friends as well.

So after he said his good byes to his children and bulging wife, he and his bannermen travel south to fight in another rebellion. But this time they would be fighting for the crown, instead of against.
