The Kawakami Academy, Seriously!?

"University it is."

He never would have thought he would study at a university in his life.

He disliked the whole idea of learning something that bored him to death and something that he would never need in real life.

School only teaches students how to study and how to memorize things, and they use a system based on marks and not actual intelligence.

That's why he believed that the whole idea of schools was a load of bullcrap.

But still, of all the possible scenarios, he was appointed to a martial arts university.

Back in his world, there weren't any universities like this at all.

"So much for wanting to pursue the career of a comedian. I was threatened to attend a martial arts university..." He tried saying this in Japanese, and to his surprise, it was pretty smooth.

Nikolai sighed and stood up, sensing someone's gaze, he looked towards the source and noticed a beautiful tall woman with raven hair gazing down at him. For a few seconds they locked gaze, and Nikolai immediately knew she was the one who beat up these thugs.

'She is really hot, but...'

He could just sense the sheer power and arrogance oozing from her.

"Is that the power of an average person here? Better not be." He turned around and started walking away, only for the person in question to jump in front of him, generating a small crater on the ground.

The woman gave him a small grin and greeted him, "Yo! You are pretty strong, right? I doubt you are here with these fools."

She pointed to the ground right next to her, where tons of injured thugs were groaning in pain. She was quite proud of her masterpiece.

"Wanna spar?"

Nikolai shook his head and walked past her, while a notification in his head rang.

Kawakami University.

He couldn't help but admit that this was quite convenient.

At least he didn't need to ask anyone for directions.

Momoyo was surprised that he just walked past her without saying anything. She observed his body from every angle and concluded that he was a skilled and trained fighter.

While it looked like he had many openings, she believed it was just a ruse to fool the person who would dare to attack him.

Kazuko caught up to her and noticed her sister's confused gaze, "Nee-san, why did you run off? Who was that?"

Momoyo didn't reply. She turned around and noticed a group of her friends approaching. "It's nothing. I wouldn't want to annoy my old man even more than I usually do. Who knows what might happen." Something told her they would meet again.

She walked up to her group of friends and greeted his little brother Yamato.

"Yo, Yamato. Do you have any spare change? I want to invite this cute girl I saw during my fight on a date, but I don't have enough money." She put her hand on his shoulder and gave him a small smirk.

Yamato was pretty well build. He had short brown hair and a pretty feminine appearance attracting the looks of a few passing women.

Just as always, he was annoyed at his big sister's gesture and just rolled his eyes.

"Nee-san, the first thing in the morning, and you are already trying to rob me of my money...You still have that 10k yen debt, don't you remember?"

"Aaaaaah I am not listening!" She plugged her ears and started walking away.

Yamato smiled and noticed the group of fallen thugs.

"What's up with them? Were we too late to save these people before they dared to challenge you?" He sighed and called an ambulance on his phone to pick them up.

It was a daily occurrence at Kawakami. Doctors and stretchers were always on standby.

"People never learn. Everyone is still underestimating you, Nee-san."

"Yeah...Lately, it's been boring. After we had our last fight with Ageha, there weren't any good opponents whatsoever. There is no one I can go all out against without being afraid of actually killing my opponent!" She stomped her foot on the ground in anger and puffed her cheeks, "I can't even show off my ultimate moves, or else someone might lose their life, it's so frustrating, hmph!"

Yamato knew about her frustration, but unfortunately, even with the wide variety of contacts he had access to, there was no one who could help her.

No one dared to fight against her.

He looked into the distance and noticed a tall man leaving towards the direction of their school.

"Who was that? Was he a member of this gang you beat up just now? If so, I am proud of you to at least let one guy leave without actually hurting him...You are improving!" Yamato gave her a thumbs up, while she stared into his eyes with a hint of annoyance.

"No...He was not with this group. But he certainly is interesting."

Yamato widened his eyes. When was the last time his big sister actually complimented someone of the opposite gender? Maybe never?

His interest rose through the roof. He definitely wanted to get to know this person but it seemed like his sister didn't want to talk about it.

Sensing the weird atmosphere, one of Yamato's friends quickly changed the subject, "Ah, did you guys read the latest volume of to love-ru? There were more panty shots than usual."

The voice belonged to a guy with a small stature. He had white skin even some of the girls would be jealous of and dark blue hair that covered the right side of his face. His name is Takuya Morooka

"Oh, really!? I am so pumped up to read the latest volume then!" Next to him stood a tall muscular man, the complete opposite of his childhood friend Moro. His name was Gakuto Shimazu.

"...Perverts." Another member of their group, was a gorgeous blue-haired girl, Miyako Shiina. She teased the boys and looked towards Yamato who was still thinking about his big sis. She couldn't let this chance slip by.

"Yamato, I like you, I want twelve children!"

"Miyako, I like you too, as a friend, and in any case, isn't twelve a bit too much?" Despite thinking about stuff, Yamato replied almost automatically.

"Yikes, you got dumped again." Gakuto got back at her.

"Shut up." She coldly replied.

"Don't fall for me just because Yamato's impossible to get. But really, why don't you pick a real man, like me for example! Women are fainting whenever I stretch these big guns." Gakuto flexed his hard muscles at her in an attempt to impress but he ultimately failed.

"Go eat a banana, gorilla."

"Treat me like a human being!" Despite yelling that out loud, he peeled himself a banana right away as he didn't have breakfast, unlike others. He was busy with combing and styling his hair.

"You should thank me for even treating you as a primate."

"Hey Yamato, you should know since you are smart. What's a primate?"

He looked at Yamato with an expectant gaze.

Yamato sighed and asked, "Gakuto...How did you manage to get into this school?"

"Y-You know that I studied my ass off! Stop this group bullying!"

"Oh? Speaking of bullying, have you forgotten about the all-time favorite, Shiina-virus?" Miyako grinned.

"W-Will you never let that go? I already apologized hundreds of times!"

"Nope!"

The group laughed at Gakuto's misfortune and together, they arrived in front of the school gates.

"We made it on time. Hm?" Yamato noticed a movement out of the corner of his eyes and found out it was the tall man he saw before. He took a sneak peek at his sister and found out she was also glancing in his direction.

'There is definitely something up with that man!'

As soon as Nikolai entered the school grounds, people were starting to take notice of him.

'This is getting crowded. It's a good thing I managed to find a rubbish bin before I entered the school gates, It would be bad if I was caught with that bottle of Whiskey after all. '

He entered the school and it didn't take him long to find something that resembled the headmaster's office or teacher's lounge.

He knocked on the door and soon after, a short man with a ton of makeup on his face walked outside. "Ohohoho, what do you need from Maro?" The man looked him up and down, it didn't take him long to figure out that the young man in front of him was a dirty foreigner. "What does a foreigner like you want with Maro? Just standing in front of the teacher's lounge, knocking on Maro's door and disturbing Maro's time of peace?"

Nikolai narrowed his eyebrows but he responded with a smile. He was only here for a few minutes and he already wanted to punch this thing in front of him.

'Calm down, Nikolai. Your life depends on this and besides, you swore to quit fighting to pursue your dream, right? Something like this is not enough to get to you. Here goes nothing.' Nikolai sighed and tried to speak in Japanese for real.

"Excuse me, I am a transfer student from Russia and I should be starting school today."

Maro was surprised at his perfect pronunciation of Japanese and nodded with a smile, "Ohohoho! Splendid! It seems that you were quite thorough in learning our beautiful language! Maro shall give you full marks for that." He really hated foreign tourists but if they worked hard enough to learn Japanese, they were passable in his book.

He fanned himself and invited him in, "Take a seat, Maro shall see which class you were assigned to." He went over to his desk and went through a stack of papers. "Maro has heard about a transfer student but Maro didn't hear anything about it being a foreigner and...a male at that."

He shuffled through the papers and found a specific class register paper. He ran his finger down the paper in a quick manner and muttered, "No. Not this one either...Oh, Maro thinks he found it. Nikoree...ehm...Aibanobiku?"

"Ah...It's Nikolai Ivanovich but yes, that should be me." He tried to hold himself back from erupting. Not only was this jackass of a teacher making fun of him for being a foreigner, but he also butchered his name.

'Restrain yourself, Nikolai.'

Maro thoroughly studied the papers. After he was done, his face distorted in an expression of disgust, "It appears you've been assigned to the class 2F. Maro shall give you one warning as a friendly gesture, make sure to stay away from those pack of rodents. As a new student, you have lots of potential with Japanese culture in Maro's eyes." He then poured himself a cup of tea and continued, "The teacher of class 2F is exceptional in Maro's eyes, but that's about it. She should be here any moment now. In any case, Maro thinks her class is full of troublemakers, so be aware."

Nikolai didn't really take his advice to heart. He felt like anyone who talks in a third person is a weird individual that needs to be locked up as soon as possible.

He took a seat in one of the empty chairs and waited. The quest was still not finished, but at least the timer that was counting down his death has disappeared, so that's good.

Not long after, a gorgeous woman in her late twenties stepped inside the room. She had sharp red eyes and slightly reddish short brown hair.

"Welcome to Kawakami University. My name is Umeko Kojima and I will be your homeroom teacher starting today. I assume your name is Nicolei Ivanovis, correct?"

Nikolai couldn't help but give her the props for trying to pronounce his name correctly. She almost got it right, unlike the Maro dude.

"Yes, I am Nikolai Ivanovich and I am the transfer student from Russia."

"Umu, so that's how to pronounce your name, I thought I was pretty close but I guess I was thinking too much, I apologize. Now then, follow me to the classroom. You are the second transfer students who will be joining my classes. It's fascinating that last week, there was also a transfer student. In any case, you will have to introduce yourself in front of the class."

Nikolai was starting to like this teacher more and more. Not only did she try to learn how to say his name the right way, she also apologized to him for mispronouncing it and welcomed him to the University. That's exactly how a good teacher should act. He was very pleased.

Maro gave him one last glance before they left the teacher's lounge.
