23 CH 21: Useful fire

Beibei smiled bitterly :"I heard that Teacher Zhou was overly strict when she taught the third year students, which resulted in only ten percent of her students being promoted to fourth year students.

Furthermore, she was reported by the students to the academy many times, which led to her being demoted to teaching new students.

Yuhao relaxed when he saw that both Beibei and Ali were praising this teacher, so he nodded :"So it's like that.

Teacher Xiao Ya, eldest senior brother, you guys must have plenty of other things to do. Me and brother Ali are in the same dorm, right? Then let's go together."

Ali nodded with a smile :"alright, then let's go already. I wanna see what kind of room I will be living in."

After passing through the white school building for first years, and the yellow school building for second and third year students, the two saw the dormitory.

The dormitory occupied an extremely large area, and although it was only a single building, the same four colours—white, yellow, purple, and black—were still present on it.

The building's colours clearly represented the different living areas of the students from their respective years, and had a total of six floors.

Ali smirked as he nodded a few times in astonishment :"well damn. This is one hell of a place to live in."

Yuhao beside him nodded as he looked at the tall building with hundreds of windows :"yeah, it's seriously huge."

The two continued walking before they arrived at the entrance of the white building to see an old man half lying on a chair, it was grandpa Mu En!

After years of getting treated by Ali's Healing Flame and Gracia the Stardust Flower's healing power, he had gotten a lot better.

The old man that had so many wrinkles that could crush flies to death had gotten from double digits to almost none at all!

His appearance of one foot in the grave of all those years ago had gotten a lot better! He hadn't completely healed, but that wasn't that far away either.

At the moment, he could pass for a healthy old man. But that still wasn't that satisfactory to Ali yet.

An ordinary tilted douluo can live for centuries, then what about a limit douluo? He wouldn't be satisfied until his grandpa was as healthy looking as a 50 year old man.

Seeing his grandpa after a rather long time, Ali smiled as Yuhao bowed a little :"Hello, Grandpa. We're new students who have come to live in the dormitory. Would you like to check our freshman badges?"

Mu En who had become a lot healthier and energetic than a few years ago, opened his eyes and smiled at the two as a deep but slightly hoarse voice echoed :"well hello there, Ali. Welcome back, is this a friend of yours? Hello to you as well, child."

Yuhao looked at Ali with a little surprise as he smiled and nodded :"hey grandpa, how have you been?

Yes, he's a new friend, his name is Huo Yuhao. Me, Beibei and Xiao Ya met him in the Star Dou Great Forest when he went to hunt his first soul ring.

Beibei and Xiao Ya recognized his potential, so they invited him to join their sect. And well, we became friends."

Mu En smiled warmly at the two as he nodded gently :"hello, little Yuhao, it's nice to meet you."

Yuhao bowed again with a smile :"hello, it's nice to meet you as well, grandpa. Brother Ali, do you know this elder?"

Ali nodded with a gentle smile :"yeah, actually, I'm his adopted son. He found me when I was just a new born, so he took me in.

I call him grandpa because that's easier. Hahaha, and so that people won't misunderstand, thinking that this old man got "lively" in his old age."

There was a confused look on Yuhao's face as Mu En chuckled with a shake of his head :"don't tease an old man like me, Ali. Alright, take your badges and dormitory keys out for me to see."

They both did so as they gave their badges and keys to him. Once he looked at them, he returned them with a smile :"Ali, your room is room 108, first floor on the left.

Little Yuhao, your room is 109 on the first floor, right beside Ali's room. The women's dorms start from the fourth floor, so you can't go upstairs at all. If we discover you up there, you'll be expelled."

Ali took his things as he rolled his eyes :"c'mon, grandpa. With such a girlfriend, would I look at these children?" 'I mean, c'mon, do I even need to go to the fourth floor to see them?'

Mu En chuckled as he shook his head :"no, I'm just telling you the rules. Okay, go to your rooms and get comfortable."

Ali and Yuhao nodded as the shorter boy bowed once again :"alright, thank you, grandpa, good bye for now."

After the two walked into the dormitory, Mu En smiled to himself with nostalgia :'such a polite kid, it seems like Ali has found a good friend. I hope it's a good friendship...'

As he thought to himself, a few new students walked past the area. However, they clearly hadn't taken note of the old man beside the building, and directly went inside. Mu En didn't stop them either. He simply sat there while enjoying the atmosphere and the sunlight."

After following the Mu En's instructions, Ali and Yuhao quickly found their own dorm rooms. The dormitory had a standard hallway layout, with both sides of the long hallway having dorm rooms with numbers etched into their doors.

The passage of time was clearly visible in the dorm rooms, and it could be seen that they had been in use for an extremely long amount time. The two ends of the corridor had shared bathrooms.

Ali smiled at Yuhao :"alright, Yuhao, see you around." And opened his room's door as Yuhao nodded back :"yeah, see you around, brother Ali."

But just when he opened the door of the room, gust of slightly musty air surged out of the room.

Noticing the dust flying towards him, Ali quickly dodged to the side with a slightly shocked look.

When he looked at Yuhao, he noticed his shocked face as well :"well, Yuhao, I think the first thing that we should do in our dorms is cleaning up."

Yuhao nodded with a gulp before he noticed Ali smirking. Ali raised his hand as a white flame ignited on his hand.

Yuhao raised a confused eyebrow at him :"brother Ali, what are you planning to do? I don't think fire will help in this situation."

But Ali chuckled :"well, an ordinary fire won't, but my fire will completely fix this situation in a few seconds."

He held his breath before stepping into the dorm as he enveloped the whole room in the white fire!

But magically, nothing burned in the room! After a few seconds, Ali stopped the flames and Yuhao who had hurriedly walked to Ali's room watched in shock and amazement!

Not only had nothing burned, the entire room had become as clean as the day it was first built! There wasn't a single dust visible!

Heck, some places were even sparkling! Yuhao looked at Ali with awe as he asked :"brother Ali, how did you do that?! Why isn't anything burnt?!"

Ali chuckled as the white fire appeared in his hand again :"well, my fire has forms with each form having a special ability.

This fire is called Cleansing Flame, it has the ability to wipe away evil and, well, clean. As you saw, the cleanse in its name isn't just for show. I can use it like this too."

Yuhao scratched his head with a confused face before he decided to just ignore it as he smiled timidly :"okay, umm... Can you do that to my room as well, brother Ali?" Ali chuckled before he nodded :"alright, let's go so I can fix your room as well."

After cleaning Yuhao's room in a few seconds as well, Ali returned to his own room and closed the door behind him before checking the room out.

The dorm room was very small, its area only about ten square metres or so. The two beds took up a large portion of the room's floor space, but there was also a table, two metal wardrobes, as well as a lamp on the ceiling. There were also a few metal protrusions on one of the walls.

Lamps were basic soul tools that needed soul power in order to light up. The metal protrusions were places that one could pour soul power into."

As he looked at the small room, a small smiled formed on his handsome face. after all, this was the place that he was gonna live in with his femboy future husband!

He may or may have not pulled a strong or two to ensure that he will live with Wang Dong in the same room.

This soul piece's wish from the omniverse was that he would be reincarnated in a Douluo Dalu 2 AU where Wang Dong is a femboy, baby!

So of course he would be excited to live with a pretty femboy! But even though he was excited, he didn't know when Wang Dong will show up. So he had to pass time with something.

And so, he decided to go and visit his girlfriend, Xiaotao in the inner courtyard. After putting his stuff in the right places, he opened the door and got out of his room and the dormitory.

Seeing Ali getting out, My En raised an eyebrow at him :"Ali? What is it? You just got to your dorm and have something to do?"

Ali nodded with a smile :"yup, I miss Xiaotao, so I'm planning to go and pay her a visit. I haven't seen her for a while, I miss her now."

Mu En chuckled as he nodded :"okay then, go ahead and see her. She has missed you quite a bit as well.

She had come to see me a few times to ask when you would return from the Star Dou Great Forest. It's obvious that she loves you."
