They all wowed in amazement as Ma Hongjun looked at her with stars in his eyes :"she is so strong and beautiful too!"

Ali just smiled smugly before Ning Rongrong got to introducing again :"on my father's left is the emperor of Tian Dou Empire. Emperor Xue Ye.

On his majesty's left is the chief of Martial Soul Hall of Tian Dou. He is one of the four Platinum Chiefs, chief Salas. Hmph, he is not a good man."

But it seems that Salas, being an over level 80 soul douluo, actually heard her from so far away as he stopped leaning on his hand and looked around with a glare, lol.

But he just returned to his previous position before the announcer started hyping the audience again :"his majesty of Tian Dou Empire will officiate the competition!"

The soldiers started hitting the drums and blowing the flute or something as the other guards started slamming the hilt of their spears to the ground.

The flying platform with screens on it focused on emperor Xue Ye as the four of them stood up.

He lifted his hand and a light flashed before a long, luxurious staff appeared in his hand <I dead ass forgot the name of that thing...>.

As he gently put the hilt on the ground, he started his slow ass speech :"I, emperor Xue Ye of Tian Dou Empire, on behalf of my Empire, and on behalf of the organizer of this competition, announce that Continental Soul Master School Elite Tournament now begins!"

And the moment he finished his speech, fireworks went off and beautiful pigeons were set off at the same direction as balloons were released high into the sky.

"At this moment, I hope that all soul masters taking part in this event will display their full strengths and acquire great achievements. You are all bringing glory to the Tian Dou Empire."

He said before the announcer spoke once again :"let's welcome the chief of Qibao Amber tribe to give his speech!"

Ning Fengzhi took a step forward as he nodded at Xue Ye and turned to the audience with a polite smile :"I am honored to be the special guest for the opening ceremony.

I've seen for too many rise and fall of soul masters. Only experience and training will help you grow.

Just as his majesty said, you shall bring glory to the empire. And tomorrow, the Empire will be proud of you all."

But unlike the smile that was on Ali's face, his thoughts were completely different :'HAHAHA, glory to the empire?

The announcer :"Chief Ning, as one of the most powerful supporting branch soul masters, are you putting your expectations on any team?"

Ning Fengzhi chuckled lowly before he gave a small nod :"I do expect one team to become the champion. Haha, but I shall keep it a secret for the time being. But the victory shall belong to the Empire nonetheless!"

While everyone in the audience cheered and clapped, Ali smirked his signature smirk :'not if THIS Majesty has anything to say about it, bob.'

The announcer :"sadly, we couldn't find out which team has the favor of Chief Ning. Up next, let's welcome the owner of the Moon Pavilion, Lady Tang!"

And after that, both she and Salas also put in a word before it was time to finally begin the competition inside of the giant close walled area.

As they walked into the building, a man in front held up a blue flower to his friend as he asked :"which team are you going to give this flower to?"

And his friend answered as he looked at his own flower :"Tian Dou Imperial School, of course. They are the pride of Tian Dou Empire."

Behind them, the Shrek folk walked as Ning Rongrong looked at the flower in her hand before she sped up a bit to talk to Erlong who was beside Ali with Zhuqing :"miss Liu, why do all the audiences get a blue flower?"

Erlong looked at the flower in her hand with a smile before she locked her hand holding the flower with Ali's :"this is the most common flower found in Tian Dou Empire, but it represents the true and deep love we have.

People present the flowers to the schools they support. As for how you present it, you'll find out soon."

Ali smiled as he interlocked his fingers with hers gently so that the flower wouldn't be crushed as he whispered :"I only have one flower, so I will hold on to it so you and Zhuqing can share."

Yu Xiaogang who was walking with them with Yu Chang in his arms, sighed sadly as the child looked around excitedly.

Ma Hongjun behind them, took a big sniff of his flower, but he suddenly sneezed, causing the flower in Jiang Zhu's hand to be sent flying :"a-ah! Wait!"

But thankfully, Ali quickly noticed and raised his free hand before smoothly catching the flower and turned around to hold it up for her with a small smile :"here you go, be careful."

Jiang Zhu smiled with a small blush as she gave a small nod :"okay, thank you for the help, Ali."

He just chuckled in response as he nodded with a gentle smile :"you're welcome, happy to be of help."

But to his sides, Zhuqing and Erlong exchanged glances before sighing helplessly and shrugging their shoulders with a nod.

It was still day, but the inside of the giant building was completely dark with only the lights of lamps and such lighting up the place.

As different colors brightened the technology advanced building, the same announcer girl from the Suo Tuo Soul Arena flew around :"welcome to Tian Dou Soul Arena! Lord Salas will draw the lot for the first preliminary round."

And when she finished talking, a purple ring rose from under Salas' leg and to his head. But when it passed his body, his body disappeared and the purple soul ring flew towards the two girls holding the lots on a woodwork.

The moment the purple soul ring reached the place with a yellow light, Salas appeared again as he walked forward before one of the girls came to him.

But the asshole had to be a creep and touch the girl's hand unnecessarily, making her uncomfortable.

But he clawed his hand before the badges on the woodwork started floating in the air and then he did the same to the other badges on the other woodwork that the other girl was holding.

All the badges started flying and circling around him before he swung his arm with a smirk and the badges stuck to the ground in pairs.

And the announcer girl did her job :"round one, Cang Hui school versus Zi Xing school! Round two, Auckland school versus Fiery Light school! Shrek school versus Tian Dou Imperial School!"

Random citizen number 1 :"Shrek school? The team with the funky uniform?"

Random citizen number 2 :"Tian Dou team is hit with good luck this time. Is this rigged?"

Random citizen number 3 :"no way this is luck."

Back where Shrek folk were, Oscar fixed his goggles as Ma Hongjun circled his arm around his neck :"this can't be a coincidence."

Tang San :"Tian Dou Imperial School second team."

Ali smirked as he cracked his finger Kaneki style :"good~, didn't expect to come across them so early. I will be sure to repay those bastards."

The seated Yu Xiaogang got up with a grunt with Yu Chang giggling in his arm as he walked towards the door :"they are the second team, but they are from the Tian Dou Imperial School after all. I doubt they are weak in any way."

Flender also followed him :"since you have the confidence, I will give you another challenge. Secure victory within one minute."

But the words were too much of a surprise for Oscar as he fell to the ground :"one minute? Impossible!"

Ma Hongjun snatched his goggles and put them over his own head as he pointed at himself :"brother San, let me do it."

Tang San :"no, we follow the original plan. We can't show your true strength yet."

Ma Hongjun sighed with slumped shoulders :"fine." Before Oscar got up and took his goggles back from his head and put it on again.

Erlong nodded at the substitute members before she nodded at Ali and Zhuqing as well :"alright, I wish you luck. Enjoy your fight."

After they left the room, Dai Mubai patted Tang San's shoulder and nodded :"Xiao San, you are in charge of planning."

Everybody got up and stood in front of Tang San as he snapped his fingers and a hologram of the stage showed up in front of him :"members that will go on are Xiao Ali, Xiao Wu, Jing Ling, Huang Yuan, Jiang Zhu, Tai Long, and me. We will proceed with plan A. We must defeat them within one minute."

But Ali interrupted with a smirk :"San'ge, I actually have a better plan. When the battle begins, I want you all to just release your martial souls and soul rings, but don't take any actions.

I will do all the work myself. I want to stomped on all of them and show just who they are against."

But Tang San was serious as he shook his head :"We can't do that, Xiao Ali. We should all go at it at the same time."

Ali rolled his eyes as he shook his hand :"I'm not saying that we shouldn't do that. You won't understand now, but you will get me when you see what I'm talking about.

Just wait when the battle begins for a few seconds. I will take action first, if you think that the fight isn't already solved, then you guys can take action as well."

But Tang San was still unsure as he looked around to see Dai Mubai shrug :"why don't you just do that?

Ali is the strongest of us all, after all. So he surely be able to take them down easily if he wants to.

And besides, you know how he is. He wants to take revenge for the humiliation they delivered to us."

Tang San looked around at others, but they also nodded :"we agree as well!" So he sighed before a nod :"alright, we will do as you said. But we will immediately take action if you take too long."

Ali snorted with his signature grin on his face that never failed to send chills down their spines :"haha, too long? I will finish the fight in damn seconds and make the rest hell for them."

And just as he finished talking, the announcer girl's voice was heard again :"without further a due, Continental Soul Master School Elite Tournament will begin its first round better! Both teams, please get on stage."

After a while and a few matches, it was finally turn for the Shrek's match to take place. As they got on one of the platforms, the announcer girl started talking again :"up next is the main show for tonight. The team we've all been waiting for, Tian Dou Imperial School second team!"

And as she said that, different colors of lights focused on the members of the Tian Dou Imperial School second team's members who were already on the stage.

All the lights went off, with only the lights that showed the members of the teams still being on before suddenly the platforms that the teams were on began to move and rise.

While Ali stood in front of the team, everyone in the audience threw their flowers at the Tian Dou Imperial School second team as Huang Yuan grunted :"they are clearly using us as sidekicks, so their good boys get to stand out more."

Ali snorted with annoyance as he frowned his eyebrows :"and it seems that one of their good boys is missing from the team.
