Chapter 19: Badass Princess 2

"Wow!, isn't it the second princess in a boxing suits " Chris said catching me totally unaware. I gasped in shock and pretended like I wasn't the one he was talking to. Instead he said again

"Wow, the princess Ondina is a boxer"

"Shut up" I said before furiously dragging him to my dressing room. I removed the mask covering my face and stared at him in shock

"What on earth are you doing here and how do you know this is me " I asked after getting over my shock.

He smiled and walked away, before he could get to the door he was like

"If you want answers to your questions meet me outside in five minutes " then he locked the door.

I quickly changed out of my outfit and wore a simple shirt and blue jeans with sneakers. I walked outside to see him leaning on the wall smiling to himself.

"Right on time " he said and started walking away .

"Hey, you said that you'll answer my questions, so speak" i said in a commanding voice.

"I believe that you wouldn't want anyone to know about you being the second princess, right Ondy" Chris whispered. I cringed at the stupid nick name he gave me and followed him quietly outside.

When we got to a secluded area, I turned to him and said

"First of all, never call me ondy in your life and second what In the world are you doing here "

"Calm down princess " he said

"You have five minutes to explain "i said to him.

"Ok, when you came to tell Onyx about some gig I thought you were a singer but since you didn't reveal much I left it. Later on,your sister came to me and told me about your fighting career. She also told me about today's gig."he confessed.

I was beyond shocked, how on earth did that sly witch know about my gig. Still deep in thoughts I blurted out absentmindedly

"How did she know and why on earth will she inform you"

"Isn't it obvious ,she wants to marry me and you are her only contender" Chris said grinning. I sighed and said

"I know but I expected more from her because she is meant to be my elder sister not my foe".

An awkward silence followed my statement, I felt a knot in my stomach, I couldn't stop reminiscing about the days when Olivia and I were close.

Flashback

"Dina my love, come out wherever you are " i heard Olivia say while looking for around the castle. I couldn't stop the little giggles that escaped my mouth as she searched for me.

"Gotcha"Olivia said as she found me at the back of my dad's throne. I laughed as I ran away from her ,she caught up to me and tickled me and I laughed...

I couldn't help the stray tear that left my eye when I remembered the good relationship I had with Olivia. I quickly cleaned the tear before Chris could see it.

" I want to show you something" Chris said. Still in a sour mood, I reluctantly agreed.

It was a five minute journey and by the time we got there it was worth it. Chris took me to a secluded garden in the city park, it radiated pure and natural beauty. There was diverse kinds of flowers each in their blooming stage but only one caught my eyes, it was the rare black rose. I moved closer to the flower to admire it.

"The black rose is one of the most distinct flowers produced by nature, it's dark nature makes people attribute dark qualities but the fact that it's different is what makes it a treasure to the ovrinoda family " Chris explained.

I continued staring at the rose on awe then Chris asked me if I wanted to take one along but I refused

"It will be a shame to cut it down for it to die later and I can come here another time "

"Fine but this one is yours" Chris said putting one on my hair.

" I thought I told you not to cut any of them " i said loudly.

"Calm down princess, i didn't cut any of these flowers, this is the original black rose . It is part of our family's symbol" Chris explained

"And it has magical qualities " he stated

"Really? How?" I asked

"It never dies until the owner dies and it gives a curse to a wicked heart and a blessing to a pure heart"Chris explained. I nodded in understanding and we left the garden.

Once we got back to the castle, I decided to retire to my room for a long nap.

"Wait" Chris said

"What "

"You are really a badass princess and I respect your profession" he said

"Shut up"I said trying to avoid awkward situations with my family.

"See you tomorrow princess, I enjoyed today, good night " Chris said leaving. I couldn't help but smile while walking towards my room

"Where were you, young woman " I heard a voice thunder behind me.
