"Meat! Meat!"

Mila happily chewed the grilled meat that Robert fed her. Mila's strength was not back yet, and Robert was helping her to eat.

She can't move her muscles yet, but her mouth is working hard to chew the grilled meat they ordered for her to replenish her strength.

Looking at her, who had such a happy expression from just eating meat, Robert asked suspiciously, "How come you can chew but can't lift your own spoon?"

Mila ignored Robert's question and continued to ask for him to feed her.

"Meat!"

"Fine. Let's talk later."

Robert rolled his eyes while he fed another spoonful of meat to Mila.

Although Mila looked shameless in asking Robert to feed her and support her not to fall from her chair, in reality she was too embarrassed, but there was nothing else she could do since she needed to replenish her energy immediately so that she could run away again.

It was fortunate for her that Robert was carrying some gold coins and that Soleil and this kingdom were both accepting the same gold coins as their currency. She feels amazed at how the gold coins don't have to be different in every country.

"Is the author too lazy to think of a design for the coins?" She thought internally while she continued chowing down on the meat fed to her. It also reminds her of how she coughed up blood just because she was about to reveal to Robert that this world is a world of novel.

"What was the name of the author again? Once I return to my world, I will kill her. I don't mind if I get imprisoned after that."

Mila starts to think viciously once she realizes that after she appeared in this world, she keeps experiencing pain and extreme things. Her rage and spleen toward the author who created this world grow stronger. She cares nothing about the reason for her transmigration to this world and only wishes for the person who brought her pain to suffer the same as her.

"Hey, Mila?"

Mila snapped out of her contemplation once Robert gently nudged her shoulder. It was too late for her to realize that she had already gulped down the twenty plates of meat that they ordered.

"Wow! I could eat this much!" she exclaimed. She could now finally lift her arms and move them at will. It's as if her energy was boosted after consuming twenty-person-worth of food.

"So can you please explain to me what – hey!"

Once again, Robert could not have finished his sentence as Mila suddenly had a wide smile before dashing out of the restaurant where they dined.

With her replenished energy, she effortlessly went out of the village and ran into the forest.

"Hey! Help me!"

Robert shouted toward the strange being who were on standby waiting for him.

Luther and the strange being were in the middle of chatting when the two passed by. Luther couldn't run after them and was frozen in place, staring at the trail of Mila's high-speed running. While the strange being also stood idly, as she also stared at the path Robert took after yelling at her to help him.

"Y-you said, they are close friends! Why was Madam running away from him?" Luther grabbed the strange being with a menacing gaze.

"No, they are really close. I have no time to explain. Let's gather here first." The strange being spoke fluently.

The strange being actually managed to smooth her speech after having a long chat with Luther, and Luther was not even surprised because other creatures are really fast at adapting to their environment, like how some can change their skin color to adapt to their new habitat.

With concern, Luther asked, "What will you do?"

Which the strange being responded to with a smile and said, "Get them back here." She then snapped her fingers, forming a bluish magic circle that instantly teleported Mila and Robert back in front of them.

"W-what just happened?"

Mila nervously looked around, and then she got into her defense stance to protect herself in case of any surprise attack, while Robert, who had been transported the same way twice, was not surprised anymore.

"Mila, there is no use in running away. I have a mage with me."

Robert simply pointed at the strange being to make Mila believe that he was with a mage so that she would give up running away from him.

"Not fair! Why do you have a mage!" Mila grumbled after letting go of her defense stance, but she didn't give up on her plan to run away. She kept her guard up and looked at every possible way to escape.

"So give up running away, Mila."

Robert got closer to Mila and squeezed her cheeks. His expression became dark as he said, "I'll follow you wherever you go."

Mila feels a shiver down her spine as she feels creepy about the way Robert threatens her. They looked at each other's eyes for a moment, but then the strange being suddenly popped in between them and monotonously spoke, "There is a better solution for her not running away."

Mila can't see the strange beings' appearance because of its oversized robe. It was the robe of a tall and large knight, which is why the strange being was fully covered by it.

"When did you learn to fluently speak?"

"Lulu and I chatted while waiting. I practiced my speech by that."

Robert thought there was no need to be surprised about the strange being because she is the epitome of all the peculiarities of the world and then changed the topic to what the strange being had said, "What was it again? What solution?"

"This."

The strange being placed a transparent handcuff on both Robert and Mila's wrists, causing the two to ask the same thing at the same time.

"W-what is this?"

"Magic handcuffs. You both can't be separated within 500 meters or else one will be dragged and it will become shorter as punishment."
