"Restaurant! Feed me instead!"

"No thanks! Leave me alone!"

Mila shouted before she dashed away.

Robert was flustered by her sudden action and ran after her, but he was more shocked that he easily caught her. When it comes to strength and speed, Mila is much greater than he is. He used his full speed to run after her, expecting that it would not be easy to run after Mila, but Robert easily caught her and suppressed her with ease.

"Ack! Let go of me!" Mila tries to get away from Robert after she was pinned down on the ground. She feels like her body is crashing as Robert puts on his weight on her. She hasn't eaten for days and been running around in the sand, which made her weaker than the original Mila. She can't believe how ruthless Robert is to her as she complains, "I am weaker than you! Stop!"

"Weak? You?"

Robert frowned. He was certain that Mila was a lot stronger than anybody else. Of course, excluding the dragons, no one could defeat Mila. He slowly loosens his grip on Mila's arms but continues to pin her down. He worriedly looked at Mila, checking on her muscles, then asked, "What happened to you? How come you became weak?"

"It is because I am hungry! Get off me!"

"What?"

"I am starving! I haven't eaten anything since we last saw each other!"

"What? But that's just more than a week ago?"

"Ugghhhaaaaa!"

Mila gathered all her strength and forced herself to get up and throw Robert into the air. She's puffing up in irritation as she sends a deathly glare at Robert, who landed on the ground after being thrown.

Dust and dirt were all over her and that made her feel sticky and irritated even more, causing her to indignantly shout, "Just a week ago? I haven't eaten since then! Do you expect me to stay full of energy!"

No matter how much Mila appeared exasperated, Robert continued to look at her with confusion and concern.

"But you were fine when we were training for months without eating? Seriously, what happened? Why do you look weak? Do we have another enemy other than the other dragon candidates?"

Robert walked closer to Mila and touched Mila's face again. He is a lot gentler, but his eyes send a threat that Mila shouldn't try to run away. He then randomly asked, "Or you're not Mila?" towards Mila because of how much Mila acted out of character.

Mila's hair stood up and she had cold sweats after hearing the last question from Robert. Her eyes shake, but she can't remove them from staring at the stern emerald eyes in front of her.

She gulped down her saliva before responding, "Yes, I am not Mila. This is actually a nov – ack!"

Mila couldn't continue her words because she suddenly felt a light pain in her head, then coughed up blood. Mila's hands shook even more after seeing the blood that her hands caught.

"I... I can't tell about the novel?" Mila mumbled, and she couldn't believe what was happening to her. "Does this mean I can't seek assistance from people in this world?"

"M-Mila!" Robert panicked after seeing Mila's blood. "Y-you're injured? Where? Hey!"

Mila fell into Robert's arms as she felt dizzy from losing blood on top of starving.

"F-fooo…"

"What? What do you need?"

Robert carried Mila in his arms and hurriedly asked around where the village's hospital was.

He jumped from roof to roof to get to the hospital quickly rather than running on the ground, where he could bump into anyone.

"No… fooo…. I …."

Mila is having a hard time speaking as she's completely drained. She unintentionally untied Robert's long spruce hair after pulling it while she randomly grabbed anything because of how she felt uncomfortable being carried in Robert's arms. Mila was dizzy and nauseous from the jumping up and down motion.

"Stop moving! We are near the hospital!"

Robert didn't enter the hospital in a normal way as he went inside via the large window on the third floor of the building.

The hospital's patients and personnel were shocked with the sudden barging in of Robert, but he was careless as he went straight to a ward and laid Mila on one of the empty beds.

However, it's not a nurse or a doctor who has come to entertain them, but a village guard.

"Foreigners, what do you think you are doing!" the guard shouted while three other men pointed their swords at them.

"I need a doctor! There is a patient here!" Robert shouted and ignored the guards.

Mila wanted to scold Robert for his behavior, but still doesn't have the energy to do so and just lets the drama continue. Mila thought that no one would actually entertain them if Robert continued to act violently, especially because they are foreigners who don't have any right to demand anything from the people in this country.

The guards had no choice but to suppress Robert, but, of course, they were not a match for the second strongest knight in the kingdom of Soleil. They were easily thrown off the side while their swords broke like fragile sticks.

"Call the commander!" One of the guards shouted that made Mila panic. She can't become a criminal because it would hinder her plan for a peaceful life. She clenched her fists and forced herself to get up.

"I am sorry! Here! Compensation!"

Mila continuously gasps after using the rest of her energy on shouting. Even if the world seemed to be turning like a roller coaster, she managed to throw the last bag of gold coins attached to her waist, then looked at Robert with a deathly glare.

"Ro… Bert! Let's leave!"

"B-but you need medical attention!"

"Let's go!"

She tried her best to hide her face from everyone so that she could still confidently walk around after this commotion.

Mila grabbed Robert and climbed up to him like he was a horse. After settling into Robert's back, she pointed at the window and said, "Restaurant! Feed me instead!"
