Nothing?

Liu Shangbi's eyes darkened, he was flabbergasted that his trick hadn't worked on the girl. What the heck?! Every girl he had ever encountered had been thoroughly smitten by his smile or just being around him, why was this petite person in front of him so not interested?

"My name is Lu Feiji, please call if you need anything, I think I will get settled now.", Liu Feiji bowed then swiftly shut the door in his face.

'Maybe she is shocked by my amazingness, after all, it isn't everyday that you get to meet an awesomely handsome and talented prince like me. Hue-hue-hue', Liu Shangbi thought smugly trying to make up a reason for him being so promptly shut out.

'Now, I still need to investigate her, my spy might actually have found something that might be a threat.', Liu Shangbi immediately hurried towards his room farther down the hall.

Hours later...

Liu Shangbi banged the old oak table in frustration. 'What the heck! Nothing?'

He had been searching through old records and had even called his chief spy to see if he knew anything about his new maid Lu Feiji. Yet after searching for three hours he hadn't found even her birth date, much less her background.

His subordinates shivered slightly at the frosty aura around him, dreading his wrath. Liu Shangbi was furious that the girl had resisted his charms just adding to his foul mood. "M-master? Have we... um... searched for last names like Feiji?".

Liu Shangbi snapped back, "Of course I have, you idiot! The only other Feiji is the royal family of the neighboring kingdom Jiu Bei!".

The subordinate that had suggested it shivered in his boots.

Lu Feiji was also in a dark mood... or at least that is what the servants that were serving her thought and would no doubt report to their masters that lived somewhere in the palace.

The reason for this act was because Lu Feiji's stable hand had "lost" her stuff somewhere between unpacking her horse's saddle and the palace entrance. But in reality, Lu Feiji had brought no bags at all and now she felt bad for the stable hand that she was "furiously" berating.

Lu Feiji snapped at them to 'get out! And find some decent clothes for her to wear while they were at it!'.

She sighed and then decided to address her two dilemmas at hand. One, she was almost positive the shadow person (probably a spy) would report to their master that she was not to be trusted or that she might be a threat and that would be disastrous.

The second that she now was serving fifth prince Liu Shangbi who was the resident heart-throb and was known to have been terribly displeased with ALL of his previous servants plus she would probably get her eyes scratched out from all of the other female servants.

Lu Feiji decided to do something about the first problem tonight and sneak out and do some poking around, this would get her some answers about her shadow encounter and get her started on her mission to collect information about the palace and the inner workings of the royals here.
