Dangers from Outside the Universe

Kelu, the fisherman, moved earth and heaven, asserting that his wife had travelled into a world when she had become unconscious after her return from the hospital being fully cured of her deadly cancer. The world she had seen was just like ours but the people there were bright men and women who appeared very tall like never less than eight feet high. They were thin but incalculably sturdy. When she reached there,a fair-complexioned hard-looking woman with a small round hard face led her into a large hall. She saw tall shining men and women sitting at a huge round steel table. They wore long dresses and brilliant crowns. The women appeared to outnumber men to a large extent.

She watched their activities for a long time.

In the meantime, some other visitors like her were sitting in a large waiting room. She also saw a huge throne which was heavily embellished with golden patterns of strange birds and animals against a deep red background. The tall man sitting on the throne was flanked by half-naked charming women. She figured out that the tall humans in that world were highly polygamous and carnal pleasure seemed to be their principal goal in life. Finally, she was led to the presence of the king on the throne. The king asked two of his attendants to lead her into a beautiful sweet-scented room. Then the king came and symbolically expressed his desire to have her as a life partner. The king also told her she looked extremely charming and made advances at her.She refused to comply with his demand and furiously spat in the king's face...! Then the two attendants came carrying a long iron rod each. The other women there took hold of her completely and the attendants pressed the red hot ends of their iron rods into her feet, buttocks and breasts. She screamed fiercely and then she had found herself on the hospital bed. It was strange that when Kelu's wife got back her consciousness, the doctors noticed the deep burnt gashes on her body parts she had specified so emphatically....!

The word "Tea-Seller" had acquired an aura amongst the poor slum dwellers and they loved him all the more intensely because he was a kind man like his tiny cute consort Vanita. The couple's supreme concern was to feed the hungry including birds and animals.According to them, hoarding money when they saw other living creatures in need of food was the most heinous crime. The slum people believed Tea-Seller was their saviour because he helped them with food.He incurred their medical expenses. Tea-Seller's name was Parsu. But Tea-Seller had prevailed upon his people not to call him by his name...He was happy to be called Tea-Seller.He often repented that he still remembered his name was Parsu. His slogan was:"Our greatness lies in our beautiful smallness." He said the real mischief started when a boy or girl grew up and realised that he or she was somebody and it was their foremost duty to dominate, outdo and outshine others. Then their parents told them about attaining material prosperity and fame.

The affluent fisherman Kelu was Parsu's regular visitor but he had sharp differences with Parsu. He could neither completely give up Tea-Seller's company nor could he accept all the stupid things he told him. He had some amount of genuine love for the old man.The slum people always now referred to him as Mahavatar which meant the greatest Incarnation of the Almighty. But he resolutely refused to be called the Almighty. The Tea-Seller Almighty hated to be called the Almighty. But why...? Because he knew the truth of it.

But the rich and the highly educated people openly

called him Parsua disrespectfully but he didn't mind that at all. It seemed he was happy to be disrespected and insulted..

Rather he served them like their most obedient servant. In the daytime, instead of taking a little rest,he would sit down under a huge branching banyan tree and do shoe-mending and shoe-polishing.The old woman who was actually not old but middle-aged,sometimes read a religious text or sang a devotional song or meditated just like the Buddha in a single posture for hours. The old man ensured that no one interrupted her meditation.

It was Sunday and evening. The big people thought Parsu was half-mad and spoke a lot of nonsense. A police officer arrived at the tea-stall and threw out to the Tea-Seller:"Parsu..! Five cups of special tea. ...!" Some higher police officers have just reached our station. A special investigation is going to be launched into the murder of a businessman's beautiful wife who was a leading film actress..."

Tea-Seller laughed mysteriously and said," Death comes very strangely indeed...!Truly speaking, there is nothing called death and men and women get scared of him unnecessarily.Again I think it is our ignorance...."

"Stop talking rubbish, mad old man....! Do what you are told to..Give your stupid lectures to your stupid people...!" The officer was angry because whenever he came to the tea-stall, the old man eagerly wanted to start a lecture on metaphysics with the officer.

The other shopkeepers fondly discussed the shameful behaviour of the Almighty Tea--Seller.His wife Vanita took note of the gossiping shopkeepers but she didn't protest. She knew the secret like her noble husband.

Kelu once said to Vanita,"Sister, you practice spiritual acts and meditate so much more than your husband. But he never meditates....?Yet he possesses such wonderful qualities...!"

"Which wonderful qualities...?" she asked laughingly.

"Last week my wife was down with high fever and severe chest pain.We took him to the hospital. The doctor said her toenail fungus on the right foot had become terribly malignant and had spread everywhere inside her body. We came home and she kept sobbing and crying imagining how she was going to die and the terror thereof. She didn't know when she fell asleep. Then Tea-Seller.....Oh sorry....!Then Mahavatar appeared to her in a dream and told her to chant a spell written on a leaf for one thousand and eight hundred times mentally. She got up and remembered the spell clearly. She had to do the chanting on the village cremation ground

We went to the cremation ground before daybreak carrying the offerings of fruit and cooked rice and sweat gruel made from wheat flour. She offered them all to Maha Kali. She chanted the spell till 11:07 in the night and she came back home and swooned again. We carried her to the hospital in the night. There were no doctors in the hospital.A young doctor came late in the morning. He injected some medicine into her arm and after a short while she got up...! Then the doctors examined her again to disprove that Mahavatar had helped her to get cured of her cancer.A number of medical tests were conducted and eventually the results came and they were all negative...!" Kelu's eyes were brimming with tears.

But now Kelu was seething with anger at the perpetrators of the gashes over his wife's body. The doctors were concerned about them too. They wondered how the wounds would heal.

Then Vanita said,"My old man meditated for one hundred centuries....Without food...!" I was with him all through those centuries. I also meditated but I have got to meditate much more and learn new ways of achieving spiritual perfection...So nowadays I am meditating.."

"Can one have control over one's death? " asked Kelu

"Yes"...she answered.

"How?" he asked.

"Ask my husband...."she said.

"I really will remain grateful to your old man for ever.

He has saved my wife. But when I told all this about my gratitude to your old man, he merely gave a cheery smile.I told about it to all the people I know. They decided to build a house for you and him. But before that, they wanted to verify whether your husband had actually played any role in her complete cure from cancer. Some young journalists went to him and asked him questions. He totally denied having played any role in my wife's cure...! Then they eschewed the idea of building him a house...And when this happened Tea-Seller was extremely relieved and delighted..Why does he hate publicity? "

"People like my old man and me always love to think inwards whereas the worldly wise think outwards and that brings them suffering..." said Vanita.

"Why is it good to think inwards?" asked Kelu.

"Can't explain it clearly..Ask Mahavatar..." Vanita said.

"He won't answer any questions...! He will divert my attention to some other ordinary topic.." Kelu said.

Vanita laughed and said,"You are seriously mistaken. If and when people come to him and ask for worldly things like power, prestige, beautiful wives, money, gold and wealth,he pretends the absence of any supernatural power in him and sends them back.."

"But he saved my wife...." said Kelu.

"He knew your wife's days were numbered. He loves you passionately and he knew the doctors couldn't save her.So he saved your wife..She is going to live long..." said Vanita.

"How did he save her ? How long will she live? "

Vanita said,"My husband will explain things to you clearly.."

It was raining. Kelu was enjoying hot tea as well as the company of the Almighty Tea-Seller who was silent. Kelu said,"My Master tell me how it is possible for one to triumph over Death.."

Mahavatar observed a short silence and his heart melted for Kelu. He said,"My friend...!My precious....! Do you understand the concept of advaita ? It means Oneness.Realisation of God is to become God. When you discover God within you,it might appear strange but it is true that you find every being and thing within your existence which is limitless.A sense of dualism is required for each and every thing to happen. When your are present everywhere unlimitedly and infinitely, where will Death come from? Death, at this stage, has become your slave and is under control and authority. A diseased person lies on the hospital bed and waits for Death. Here a strong sense of dualism causes Death. One who is free from dualism can't grow old because growing old also involves a sense of dualism. When you have become One,you are free from everything including Time and Distance.

"Did you get me?"

"I will try to find my infinite presence..My Master.

But tell me why my wife received those burnt gashes.."said Kelu.

"There are countless worlds and universes in the womb of space.Your wife's soul was captured and taken into one of them..Those aliens are just like us.

They are very tall people. They are coming to the ending and final destruction of their civilisation. They have their subtle invisible presences within each of us too. They have visited the earth countless times. They have recently decided to steal all the beautiful girls and young women from planet earth so that our civilisation will come to an end. Their planet Roghor is facing a severe shortage of females. When the situation is so critical there, those lustful male creatures are polygamous to an odious degree.Their females have been stolen in large numbers. There is another planet Oromas where there are only a handful of men.The thousands of women who are highly intelligent and empowered by their spiritual strength on the planet Oromas are visiting the planet Earth regularly leaving no stone unturned to steal men from here..Your science can't reach all the planets where life exists but men and women of God do have the supreme power to discover those inscrutable worlds.....Our old religious texts say there are countless rows of universes in the space..Your soul can discover them ....It's foolish to waste money on scientific experiments to reach there..The spirit is without beginning and end....."

"Why do governments waste billions and billions of dollars on space research?"

"Some are curious and want to quench their thirst for knowledge about the possibility of life on other planets...Others are trying to acquire power to dominate the world...." said the Tea-Seller Almighty...

"What is the time..my Master?"

"It is 8:45...When do you have supper?"

"You know about it all and are still asking me..! I can never forget these words of yours my Master...!" said Kelu.

"Which words of mine,my treasure....?" said the Tea-Seller.

"The words you often tell the poor slum dwellers and assure them that they are fortunate to have no wealth

and power..Don't you always say:'Live like a beggar and die like a king.Or live like a king and die like a beggar..Live like a mouse and die like a lion...O My Master save me and my wife? "

"You are so rigidly attached to your wife...?" said Tea-Seller and burst into laughter.

The Master said,"Let us have a smoke now...We have done a lot of talking..."

"How many number of names does the Master

have?" Kelu thought to himself.

"I don't care how names you people give me...The list is endless..! Parsu..!Tea-Seller,Tea-Seller Almighty, the

Almighty,Mahavatar..." Tea-Seller said.

"What a coincidence...Master! I was thinking about your many names...! As if you read my thoughts? " said Kelu.

"Give me another dozen of names...One name breeds an individual identity..I want collective identity...I genuinely mean what I say..Go on giving me as many names as you can...If you do that, you will do me a priceless favour..My sense of individuality might be so weakened as to make me totally free from it..."

Tea-Seller and Kelu drank black tea and then had a good smoke..Tea-Seller coughed a lot. After his coughing ended,he said,"The aliens from Roghor are a nasty dastardly people. They take pleasure in killing other creatures. Just like our kings and nobles of the past killed innocent humans, birds and animals just for fun. We have to arm ourselves with the inner strength that we have. Here political power and science are going to do precious little. I have to alert my brothers and sisters everywhere in the world.."
