40 Time Skip... (2)

Prithvi's P.O.V,

After the birth of Suyodhana and Bhima, the wheel of time moved at an incredible pace.

A Decade passed in the blink of an eye...

This period marked the birth of the Kauravas and Pandavas. With a little gap in their ages, they had finally born in the unusually peaceful silence before the upcoming storm.

However, the peace was only reserved for Hastinapur. During the peace of Hastinapur, Mathura had become the dwelling of sins, from in and out.

Under the reign of the current king, the commoners had been experiencing the most horrendous nightmares, due to the harsh rules and taxes imposed by the current king of Mathura, King Kansa!

Imprisoning his own sister, father and Brother in law were the lowest on his list of crimes. For, he had already killed the six children of Devi Devaki with his own hands!

Aided by his dreadful minions, he had been slaughtering the weak for his own pleasure. However, it was only half-true.

With every murder of his own Bhanja (Nephews), his fear originating from the birth of his death, has been increasing exponentially.

This anxiety and fear of death has been driving him mad!

More so, when the seventh child of Devaki was born dead! Though he didn't express any reaction at this news, it alerted him very much!

His unease and worry was increasing on thinking of the possibility of his death (Devi Devaki's eighth child) escaping from his grasp.

It influenced him to increase the security around the special prison to the max!

And yet, it wasn't enough to clear his uneasiness. His sleepless nights continued to the time when...

Shri Krishna, the incarnation of Lord Narayan finally arrived on my surface!

I am still awed by his gentle smile when he first gazed at his parents. Then...

The Maya (Illusion) of Lord Narayan began, making the guards around the prison fall asleep in their sweet dreams...

By taking advantage of this situation, Shri Vasudev (His father) took him to the village of Gokul, under the heavy downpour.

During that whole time, Shri Sheshnaag-the mighty ruler of all serpents, the eldest of all serpents, the bearer of Earth and an entity having thousands of heads with an infinite body, didn't let a single drop of rain fell on Shri Krishna or Shri Vasudeva.

Aided by the virtuous serpent, Shri Vasudeva safely reached the home of Nanda-the village head of Gokul. Plus, He was the best friend of Vasudev.

Coincidently*, on the very same day, Nanda was also blessed with a daughter. Aware of his friend's circumstances, he gave his newborn daughter to his friend Vasudev while placing Vasudev's son beside her wife, who remained unaware of this whole ordeal.

Seeing Nanda giving his daughter to him, warm tears flowed out from Vasudev's pupils. For Vasudev knew the fate of this lovely daughter, who would be eliminated by Kansa...

Sadly, there's not much time left for Vasudev to even express his feelings. Thereby, Vasudev hastily returned to the prison with the heavy weight of guilt on his weak shoulders.

After that...

What happened is known to the world...

That vile creature tried to kill the newborn child mercilessly under the loud pleadings of the couple, who was once his dear Sister and Brother in Law..

...

Moving away from this great episode, Kansa tried various methods to find and destroy his Doom. But to avail.

During his quest, he has already killed countless newborn children of his kingdom. And yet, it remained a fruitless endeavor.

Nowadays, Kansa is living in fear of death at every possible moment. His madness has reached his peak as he becomes agitated and enraged at the slightest mistake of his attendants.

...

Meanwhile, the very doom of Kansa has been growing up in the care of Devi Yashoda and the numerous mothers and sisters of Gokul.

At the tender age of 6, Shri Krishna had already provided moksha* to some Asuras.

Jai Shri Krishna!
