Training Room

~~Teris~~

There was a kid, he looked like a twelve-year-old, maybe a little older.

His black eyes shined with an excited look on his face while sweat ran from his blond hair all along through his back drenching his pants...

He was squatting weirdly, both legs wide open, his hands forming fists at his waist level while breathing rhythmically.

It was Nick who was training his horse stance while trying to use the breathing technic at the same time.

A day ago while practicing he noticed that if he did both pieces of training at the same time not only would he save time but also the results felt much better and refreshing!

After some time practicing and testing different methods of training, his eyes seemed to lose focus for a little bit, and then he found himself in a weird white room...

The room had a blue sky and grey tyles stretched as far as the eyes could see, while an old book stood at the very center on an ancient-looking stone pedestal.

Nick approached the book and picked it up, just to see it was the same book he was a little familiar with already, 'The Billion Words World Book'...

He looked at his surroundings again but quickly the book caught his attention since there was nothing remarkable about the room other than its ginormous size.

Nick opened the book expecting to see the usual layout but there was a small change in it...

--Index--

The Index seemed to have two new tabs, as for the '[Animal...]' Tab, it was unlocked when he ate some dried meat at the soldier scamp so he didn't care about it at all.

Looking confused he selected the [Functionalitys] tab by touching it and it expanded like a list. But this list only had one option at the moment...

[Time-Constricted Training Room]

[A place where the user can use to practice, experiment, and relax without affecting the outside world. Current transformation* (1:1)]

*Tip*

*Current transformation refers to the equivalent of days the user can stay inside the '[Time-Constricted Training Room]' each day, 1:1 referring that each natural day the user can stay inside for 24 hours.*

*One Time Tip*

*When energetic conditions are met the 'Current transformation*' can be modified.*

With eyes as wide as watermelons Nick re-read everything slowly and carefully but still, he couldn't help but mutter under his breath.

"Holy sh*t"

'This thing is too godly!!'

'Won't I become a god?!'

Nick's heart was suddenly shaken!!!

After a little while, Nick somehow managed to calm himself and continued to read, he couldn't believe the seemingly silly and useless book could be such a godly artifact!

[Training Technic...]

[Push-ups]

[Pull-ups]

[Squats]

[Horse stance]

[Macalister's Secret Breathing Technic (Incomplete)]

Nick then opened a random tab so he could understand the changes in the Index again

[Push-ups]

[Exercice in which a person lies facing the floor, keeping a straight back, raises their body pressing down with their hands... Proficiency*: 05.22%]

*Tip*

*Proficiency refers to the rate of perfection present in an action.*

*Proficiency can rise due to training, reading, sparring, epiphanies...*

And the list stretched listing almost every kind of way to acquire knowledge...

When Nick was nearing the middle of the list the room slowly shook and Nick's eyes slowly recovered their focus... 24 hours have passed!

Suddenly Nick felt heavy and tired.

He somehow managed to bring himself under a tree and collapsed asleep...

Meanwhile, in a dark corner of a tavern, two guys with black robes talked to each other ears.

"Is everything ready?"

"Yes, everyone is in position, we are only waiting for orders, sir."

"Go..."

"Yes"

Suddenly one of the cloaked men turned into a shadow and left the place without leaving a trace.
