New world

There was a storm raging outside the window. It was raining heavily sound of thunderstorm was too loud and can be heard clearly, making the atmosphere gloomy. It was like it will be doomsday. Ryan was alone inside his house. Ryan didn't know from what but he was feeling anxious for some reason. He turned made his way towards his bed from window side. It was at that time a loud thunder was heard by him and was the last thing Ryan got to hear before his consciousness descended into darkness.

"Ryan sigal how does that sound for our little prince??"

"hmm.. that does sound perfect, Jenny as always anything you think of is always best."

"Oh, Andrew come on, don't exaggerate it that much."

"Look our little prince is opening his eyes."

Jenny turned her attention to Andrew who was watching Ryan open his eyes, feeling that the temperature in the room is dropping, Andrew turned his head towards Jenny only to come across the eyes of hungry tigress.

Andrew almost didn't faint at this moment.

"You said something honey??"

"No, I was just saying... look he is awake."

When Andrew saw Jenny turning her head he sighed, as he thought that he almost got caught by death herself.

Ryan, who felt some consciousness and got his head cleared a bit heard some noise around him.

Opening his eyes when he looked around he saw the faces of people who may be the source of those noises. This is his first time when he came across unknown people with weird clothes. Ryan could see joy on the faces of the two people. While one stood in the back with respectful attitude.

Ryan was shocked when he saw the kingdom toppling beauty looking at him up this close.

These woman captivated his eyes. Her skin fair, with almond royal blue eyes which held little moisture in them, illuminated her eyes. Her wavy, waist-length blonde hair made her look gorgeous like an angle. Her face displayed warm and graceful demeanor like a caring mother. She just permeated this motherly feeling that mad him want to cling to her.

Refocusing his scattered thoughts he turned his head, Ryan looked towards the man with black hair. He had sturdy body with his back straight, his muscles looked well developed. He had confident air around him like he was some kind of leader. But looking at his face which was covered in tears and the face which held a wide grin on it was really making him look like a fool.

And watching his nervous face Ryan felt it was funny for some reason.

"Hi little Ryan.....I am your daddy, can you say daddy?" When Jenny and doctor heard Andrew they burst into laughter. Although Ryan could say dada, he didn't want to since he was just born.

"Woah! He look so cute. Oh my baby, look at mama." Doctor seeing that how this husband and wife are behaving he considered that it would be best to leave them alone, so after explaining that if there is some problem they should call him and told some important things afterwards he left the room.

Lifting Ryan in the air Jenny Shook him a little with happy smile on her face. 'With smile she looks really beautiful'. Ryan thought.

Feeling how his body was, it didn't take Ryan much time to understand that now he was in the body of this boy. Remembering what had happened, Ryan was sure that he was struck by lightning.

Understanding that he was in his house but still died, he came to conclusion that his house may also be destroyed. He got goosebumps thinking how terrible that lightning was to demolish his house.

Ryan was almost seventeen years old and was in high school before he died. He and his family which had his father, mother along with his sister and big brother. His family was rich enough that even he doesn't work in the future, they won't lack money. He held no pressure and enjoyed his time well.

Reminiscing about them, he felt heavy feeling in his heart. With his current situation he concluded that he has got a second chance or in novel term reincarnated as this boy. "Lord, Duke and Duchess are waiting." As they were happily talking inbetween themselves, someone knocked the door of their room and informed Andrew.

'Looks like this man who will be my father is some kind of lord, not bad for starters atleast I am not from some kind of family whose living conditions are below average. What am I thinking, watching the interior of this room gives the feeling of riches.' Ryan thought in his heart as he looked at the things inside the room.

He could see a big bed with good design big enough for five people to sleep on, table and chairs were also looking expensive with different design. Although there were no modern appliances in the room.

'Yeah! They seriously are rich, looks like noble family.'

"Darling, I will be going to see Dad. If you miss me too much just say one of the maids to inform me. Now you should rest too." Andrew kissed Jenny on her forehead and said while leaving.

"Tell someone to stay and guard at the door and if something needs to Jenny provide immediately." After exiting the room Andrew reminded the maid who informed him to guard outside.

'His tone and way of talking really changed from the way he was inside. He sure cares for his wife..'

Ryan suddenly felt very weak and his eyelashes felt heavy. As a new born he couldn't fight back the sleepiness he felt. Closing his eyes while feeling the warm embrace, Ryan descended in slumber.

Feeling something Jenny looked at sleeping face of Ryan, a beautiful smile appeared on her pale face when she saw him sleeping.

Jenny unbuttoned her dress and guided her son's lips to her breasts. Ryan who was sleeping didn't know anything, with just instinct and hunger his body felt, helped him perform the most basic activity a newborn baby should do, and he started drinking his mother's milk.

When Ryan woke up it was already night time. Turning his head he could she Jenny sleeping near him sleeping soundly while Andrew was nowhere to be seen, it seemed like he never returned from that time.

Ryan had many thoughts in his mind. He feared many of future possibilities. Although it was fun to read xianxia and isekai novels but to live through one was pure hell to say the least.

There would be little to no laws in those lands and monsters thrived in there that would serve as constant threat to a normal lackluster life for any mortal. He could not see himself enjoying his life.

These was the reason why those novels always need to have a hero to save them in the first place because it was dog eat dog world that knew no democracy of any kind. Talent and strength are the basic needs in such world. He just hoped that this is not such world.

Otherwise, Ryan could bump in a stranger and may have to pay with his head on a pike in the aftermath.

'Why such a thing happening to me? I was just a ordinary rich boy in the society with good family. I don't deserve this.' Ryan lamented inside.

'Top it all, why the hell is my soul in the body of this kid. It feels like I have killed it although this life had no sense of existence since it has yet to born.' thinking about this, Ryan had ugly and gloomy face.

'Sigh!'

'Okay' Ryan made his mind clear and tried to except the reality. Although it's hard to believe, he can't change the fact that has happened.

Feeling powerless Ryan once again closed his eyes as now, he couldn't possibly do anything about thinking this.
