Ethan Blackwood was an ordinary young businessman. At least he was until, during a trip, he found himself involved in an event that defied all logic he knew. Unwillingly and unexpectedly, he becomes entangled with supernatural beings, and to make matters worse, he has to deal with a demon inside his body! Now, he must become stronger if he wants to survive the challenges ahead. Will Ethan, with his new abilities, be able to survive the new challenges involving gods and demons?
Ethan watched closely as Thor effortlessly destroyed his shadow clone. Although he had managed to replicate his own form perfectly, the clone lacked the vital spark that would have allowed it to move and act autonomously. With a simple strike from Mjolnir, the clone crumbled into a pile of shadows, dissipating into the air. Despite this apparent failure, Ethan was not discouraged; on the contrary, a dark smile appeared on his face.
"I'm starting to understand it," Ethan thought as he dodged another of Thor's attacks. He knew that as a full apophis, this ability to give life to shadows would have come naturally. But, being half-human, he lacked the innate instincts that a demon of his race would possess. However, what he lacked in instinct, he compensated for with ingenuity and creativity. And, little by little, he began to unravel the mysteries of this new power.
