Ethan looked at Neith with a mix of curiosity and concern. Her recent declaration left him uneasy.

"What do you mean by that, Neith?" he asked, his voice tense.

Neith sighed, preparing to explain.

"It's the truth, Ethan. At this moment, I am no stronger than an insect. The curse that imprisoned me not only confined me but also sealed all my magic, at least here on Earth. Though I managed to escape thanks to you, the curse's lingering effects remain."

Ethan absorbed the information, finally understanding Neith's behavior.

"You should have told me earlier," he said, a tone of reproach in his voice. "I was counting on your strength to resolve potential conflicts that I can't handle due to my lack of power."

Neith looked at him cautiously.

"Aren't you going to use this opportunity to get rid of me? And with that, break your obligation to fight against the god Teti?"

Ethan shook his head, his expression calm.
