Magic Martial World (Moved to WSA)

With a wave of my hand, thousands of magicsteel swords rained down on my enemies as I enjoyed a chess game with my companions. With a swing of my sword, sword kings and emperors prostrated before me as I hanged the Sword Saint's head for the world to see.  With a flick of my finger, hundreds of thousands of wizards and sages exploded into bloody mist as I used their blood and bones to pave my path towards invincibility. I am Ivan Chaos, the first cultivator in a scientific world of wizards. ______________________________________________ Disclaimers: This is a slow paced novel where learning and improving are the norm. Getting Punished

"Fuck, are you insane? What did you do that for?" Suddenly being kicked by his colleague, Lucas barked at Calvin.

Calvin once again ignored his colleague. He merely wanted the orb of light named Chaos to punish his colleague quickly.

He was a man who hated wasting time after all.

"You dare ignore me? Calvin! You're barking up the wrong tree!" Lucas shouted ferociously.

But before he could do anything to Calvin, Lucas was blinded by a flash of white light.

When the light dimmed down, Calvin and Lucas' jaws dropped.

Standing in front of them was no longer the orb of light, but a handsome young man with shiny black hair, a small nose, a chiseled face while wearing a sly smile on his face.

His eyes were like onyx, shining through the ages as if the person in front of them wasn't dead in the first place.

Just looking at the young man's face made Calvin's face blush red.

Lucas, on the other hand, remained terrified since this wasn't the first time he had seen the orb of light's true form.

In fact, he would rather be punished by Chaos in his orb of light form than his true form.

It would embarrass Lucas less since Calvin was here with him.

But when he turned to look at his colleague's reaction to Chaos, Lucas found out that Calvin was beet red.

"Why are you blushing?" Dumbfounded, Lucas asked.

"I'm blushing because there is a ridiculously attractive person in front of me. Anyone would blush at the sight of him! But I can assure you, I'm as straight as a rod." Calvin firmly refuted as he pointed his finger at Chaos.

Lucas paused for a moment before he asked again. "You've never blushed at the sight of me though?"

"You're not even remotely attractive!" Calvin refuted even fiercer.

His embarrassed face turned into a face full of disgust immediately when Lucas spoke.

"I'm heartbroken!" Lucas gripped his chest and lamented.

"No one cares." Calvin huffed to the side.

As if the two sages had forgotten about why they were there, Calvin and Lucas began bickering against one another.

Chaos watched their bickering silently.

He found it amusing that people could forget everything and argue with their opposites no matter the eras.

'Haiz, I was like this once before. Sadly, I don't think I'll ever meet them again.' Chaos sighed in his heart.

Hours passed by within Chaos's mental sea when Lucas finally ran out of breath, stopping his chat with Calvin to take a breather.

Calvin, on the other hand, remained spirited since he was only listening to Lucas' blabber without having to say much.

He felt that Lucas could improve their current society if his colleague had put those hours of long blabbering about his ideas to work.

Alas, Calvin knew how Lucas operated. He wouldn't work unless a reward was promised to him beforehand.

'You could reward him with yourself, y'know?'

Out of the blue, a deep yet soothing voice resounded through his mind.

Startled, Calvin turned around to find Chaos smiling at him meaningfully.

"What…What do you mean, Sir?"

'I mean what I say, Sage. Since your colleague won't benefit humanity without a reward, why don't you become that reward? He seems to be fond of you.' Chaos paused for a moment before continuing.

'If you know your colleague has the ability to change the world but lacks the motivation to do so, why don't you become the torch to ignite the flame of passion within his heart?'

"I…We're not like that, Sir." [Calvin]

'And why's that? You two looked like a married couple while you guys were bickering.' [Chaos]

"I'm married, Sir. I have a wife. Plus, I only see Lucas as a colleague who works in the same school as me, nothing more than that." Calvin continued to deny Chaos with excuses.

'My…He would be saddened by this news.' Chaos furrowed his brows and added.

"It's fine. I've already rejected him before. I'll just do it again when he asks again." [Calvin]

'Very well. I'm here to give out punishments to the two of you here, and not meddle in your businesses.' Chaos nodded his head and sighed.

He then turned towards the other sage and said. 'Lucas, come over here!'

Lucas was stunned for a moment before he felt himself losing control of his own body and running towards Chaos like a dog.

Calvin revealed a look of fascination as he stared at his colleague.

'Now then, we've dragged this process for far too long. Sage Lucas of Ishgar, Sage Calvin of Ishgar…I, Chaos, Paladin of Death shall now carry out my duty as the guardian of Ivan Chaos, to punish you within my capabilities!'

"Ivan?" [Calvin]

"Guardian of that brat?!" [Lucas]

'Firstly, Sage Lucas of Ishgar, for your sleazy attitude against the kid, you shall receive 10 whips from the King of Water Dragons. He'll be with you shortly after this.'

"Yes…Thank you for your mercy, Sir Chaos." Lucas heard Chaos' verdict before letting out a sigh of relief.

He had been tortured for a full day yesterday with whips and soul burning that Lucas was actually okay with this punishment.

He knew that his soul would disintegrate if he was forced to clean Chaos' memory vault again.

After giving out his punishment to Lucas, Chaos turned his head towards Calvin.

'As for you, Sage Calvin of Ishgar, for your reckless attempt to stop an argument using high level destruction magic in front of the kid, you will receive 5 shocks to your astral form. I will handle this punishment myself.' [Chaos]

"Uh…Will it hurt?" [Calvin]

'No, but you'll be assaulted with every possible feeling known to man five times. And since it's towards your astral form, the stacked feeling will be buried within your soul till your death.' [Chaos]

"Can I get a different punishment then? That sounds worse than pain." [Calvin]

'A punishment wouldn't be effective if the one who is going to be punished gets to choose their own punishment, right?' [Chaos]

"Yeaahhh??" [Calvin]

'Good. Now, off you go.'

Without warning, Lucas was teleported out of Chaos' mental sea and into Leviathan's domain.

I rmb I replied to one of my readers' questions. Will there be romance? I said I'm not sure. Well, if you count this as romance, then that's fine. This ain't romance tho, I was merely writing the brotherhood of two sages.
