Chibs' House

Sophia POV

I was in my Da's room talking with Teddy for about thirty minutes before Harry told him to get to sleep. I said my goodnight and said, "I love you Teddy, be good and listen to your Da. I will call you tomorrow goodnight little wolf."

Teddy chuckled at you and said, "Night Ma I miss you!" Harry then took the mirror and said "I got him you go get to know your dad we will be fine for a few weeks. Ginny is having a blast with him as well." 

I chuckled at that and said, "I know Harry thanks I will talk to you later goodnight love you." I hung up the call just as Da came back in the room. He looked at me and said, "Did I miss talking to my grandson?"

"Yea, sorry Da it is his bedtime so Harry sent him to brush his teeth we just finished I hope everything in you meeting went well."

"Everything went fine lass. I had to tell them an abridged version of all that happened to you in the past but all is well. Clay has invited ya to the family dinner he and his wife are hosting tonight. Are ya up to join your old man for a meal?"

This caused me to chuckle and say, "Sure Da just let me go to the hotel I'm staying at so that I can change into something a little more casual. I don't think my pant suit is family dinner acceptable."

Da looked amused by me and said, "I don't suppose it is. I will follow you over there and help you with your bags and get you checked out so that I can move you into my house. The last thing I need is you staying in a hotel."

I was gonna argue with him but I saw the look of determination in his eyes so I just nodded and said, "Alright Da have it your way. I wont argue on this one."

Da just chuckled and said, "Good cause you wouldn't of won the fight anyway." 

It was funny to know we were both stubborn it made me feel closer to him and that was a nice feeling. It didn't take us long to get to the hotel that I was staying in. We walked into my room and grabbed my bags, since I hadn't had time to unpack it was a quick trip. Before I could think to much on the subject we were already pulling into the driveway for Da's house. 

Walking in I was surprised to find that the house was neat and organized but it was also very dusty so I looked at Da and said, "You don't stay here much, do you?" This caused Da to blush as he shrugged his shoulders. I chuckled at him but said, "Do you mind if I call one of my house elves to help clean this place up while I shower and get ready for this family dinner?"

Da chuckled and said, "Na I don't mind lass it's been a while since I've seen a house elf. Go on then call em." 

I just smiled at the look of nostalgia on his face and said, "Alright then, Daisy, Clover I need you here." It was a short wait but I herd the soft pops as they appeared in front of me and Da.

They looked around and gasped before they said, "You called mistress."

I looked at them smiled and said, "I did, I need you two to clean up my Da's house while I get ready for a family dinner that I have been invited to. Oh and could one of you make something that I can take to the dinner maybe a desert or something." 

They both nodded and looked excited to have something to do for me they enjoyed tasks like this. With a pop they were gone I walked out to the car to grab my bag and Da followed behind me to help me carry it even though we both know it wasn't heavy due to the lightweight charm I had on it.

We had just walked back inside when Clover popped in and said, "The bathroom is clean and ready for your use mistress, and master I have cleaned the living room up so you can sit and wait for the mistress to finish." 

This caused my da to chuckle and say, "I almost forgot how efficient these little buggers are."

I chuckled at him and said, "Clover and Daisy are my best elves they are discreet and I hope to let them stay here and help with the house while I am here. If all goes well I may even look into having a manor built nearby so we can get to know each other better. If that's ok with you?"

This caused Da to tear up and hug me. It took him a few minutes to calm down before he pulled back and cupped my face before he said, "I would love that lassie, your mother meant the world to me and knowing that she gave me you makes her and you all the more special to me. Also I still need to meet my grandson blood or not." 

I was tearing up at his words before the grandson comment which made me giggle and say, "Yea Teddy is amazing and he is blood Harry and I blood adopted him so he is ours just as much as he is Tonks and Remus's. You will love him Da, he is ten years old and will start school next year."

This caused Da to smile and say, "So he is almost old enough for his first broom then I bet he is excited." 

"You have no idea how excited he is for it Da. Harry was the seeker for the Gryffindor Quidditch team so he is chomping at the bit. I said laughing then continued "Oh, that reminds me can you find me a motorcycle? We have a few years before he can ride it but I need one that I can send to Mr. Weasley so that he can modify it for Teddy." 

Da looked at me confused for a moment and said, "I can find you a bike love, but what does a wizard need with one?" 

This made me laugh so I said, "Sirius Black and Arthur Weasley found a way to modify a bike to fly and cloak itself. When Sirius died he left the bike to Harry who takes Teddy for rides all the time. So I thought for his sixteenth birthday I would get him a bike but it takes time to find the right one and for Mr. Weasley to modify it given he doesn't know much about muggle technology." 

This caused da to look at me funny before he got a mischievous look on his face and said, "Will this Mr. Weasley be willing to modify my bike? If so I will help with teaching him about muggle engines."

At my Da's comment I just shook my head in amusement and said, "Some how I'm not even surprised with that question. I will ask Mr. Weasley if he is willing but if he does you can't let anyone other than you work on your bike from that point forward. I would also have to get the proper paperwork filed with the muggle technology protection department.' I sighed at the thought of more paperwork but smiled at how happy my da looked. 

Da almost jumped for joy before he said, "I promise not even my brothers at the club will be touching my bike love. Thank ya I haven't been this happy in a long time, now go get ready for dinner before Gemma has my hide for being late." 

I laughed at the and headed off to get ready for dinner.
