Tozuki breathed heavily, he felt a sense of fulfillment after winning, the whole crowd cheered, he was being congratulated. For one of the first times in his life.

Tozuki's POV 10 Years Ago:

Mom: WHY CAN'T YOU DO ANYTHING RIGHT, YOU LITTLE BRAT!

I saw my mom wind up for a slap, I know I could easily block it now that I ranked up to yellow white, but I should never defy my mother. I felt her palm connect with my face, it didn't hurt as much as it used to but it still burnt.

Mom: THIS IS WHY YOUR DAD LEFT, HOW COULD YOU BE SO WEAK AT YOUR AGE?! YOUR COUSIN IS ALREADY A DOUBLE YELLOW AND HE'S A YEAR YOUNGER THAN YOU!

My mom's face was boiling with anger, I felt as if I was looking the devil straight in the eyes, I can't bottle up my emotions anymore...not anymore, I WON'T TAKE THIS FOR ANOTHER SECOND!

Tozuki Mom...I HATE YOU, I DO EVERYTHING RIGHT, I ALWAYS DO AS YOU SAY, I GET PERFECT GRADES AND MOST KIDS MY AGE HAVN'T EVEN DEVELOPED A FORZA. I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU! I HOPE I NEVER SEE YOU AGAIN!

My mom's face contorted into look of surprise, disgust and pure anger, I quickly turned around and ran out the door, into the pouring rain, hoping I'd never see her again.

Narrators POV:

Tozuki quickly shook his head, he walked off the arena back to the waiting room, Kanjiro quickly ran up to him and gave him a high five.

Kanjiro: Wow! You did amazing, what was that red eye thing though?

Tozuki: Oh, uh it was a technique I developed, anyway we should watch the other matches I suppose.

Kanjiro: Yeah, the second fight is about to start!

Tozuki and Kanjiro sat down as the announcer popped up on the TV.

Announcer: Alright, folks! Let's get the second fight started! Our first competitor is 24 year old, 195 pounds, 6 foot and the winner of the previous monthly MMA tournament, Jogo Jatsu!

A muscular man with spiky brown hair, a rough beard and brown eyes, wearing red sneakers, jeans, a black undershirt and a red jacket on top walked up to the arena, as the crowed roared in excitement.

Announcer: And our second competitor, 22 year old, 113 pounds and 5'8, it's Mowaba Nagaki!

A woman with shoulder length smooth red hair and light green eyes wearing a black tracksuit with lime stripes down the side and white sneakers appeared onto the arena, as the crowd continued cheering.

Announcer: AAAAAAAAAAAAND, START!

Nagaki started shooting ice pellets at rapid speed, multiple hit Jatsu however they didn't sustain any damage.

Jatsu: Is that all you can do? I'll probably be able to clean sweep this entire tournament again.

Jatsu rushed towards Nagaki, landing a liver shot, before kicking her in the chin. Nagaki quickly recovered and temporarily blinded Jatsu by poking his eyes. Nagaki quickly summoned a large hammer out of ice, she was about to swing at Jatsu when she was pushed back by a burst of wind.

Jatsu: You f@ck1ng b1tch! I'll f*ck@ng kill you!

Jatsu clasped his hands together, creating a compressed ball of air, before throwing it at full speed, Nagaki barely blocking it with her hammer. Nagaki quickly threw her hammer at Jatsu, which he easily broke with a single wind enhanced punch.

Jatsu grinned as he created an enormous amount of air balls. (Pause) Jatsu then rapidly punched the balls toward Nagaki, she managed to dodge a few but she got hit by a lot of the air balls. Nagaki quickly created a giant ice spike out of the ground, however Jatsu used Fury 30: Spirit Phase to evade it.

Jatsu: You were a waste of my time.

Jatsu disappeared, as Nagaki looked around, she couldn't find him until.... *BOOM* Jatsu spirit dashed into the air and came down with a kick to the back of Nagaki's head, knocking her out.

Announcer: The winner of the second fight is Jogo Jatsu!

The crowd cheered louder than ever, the match was incredible one sided. Jatsu just smirked and came back to the waiting room, while Nagaki was carried off in a stretcher.

Kanjiro: Wow, that match was so quick! No wonder that Jatsu guy was the winner of last months MMA Tournament!

Tozuki: Yeah...by the way, how did you find out about this MMA Tournament thing anyway? It looked pretty sketchy at first but it seems like the real deal.

Kanjiro: Ha ha..well, I only got a partial scholarship and my current job doesn't pay enough to get my student loan debt paid off anytime soon, and the tournament gives a cash prize to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, even 3rd place would be enough to pay most of my debt.

Tozuki: Oh, ok, sorry for asking...

Kanjiro Nah, it's fine, it's rather normal for most students at our college, did you get a scholarship?

Tozuki: Yeah, I guess I got pretty lucky heh heh

Before Kanjiro could reply, the TV cut back to the announcer, as Tozuki and Kanjiro both started paying attention to the TV.

Announcer: Alright! That was incredible fight! Let's move onto the next one! Our first competitor is 18 year old, 170 Pounds and 6 foot 1! Welcome Geka Yuri!

A man with a buzzcut, grey eyes and a scar across his cheek, wearing black shorts, a plain black T-Shirt and black boots came up to the arena.

Announcer: Now the 2nd competitor, 18 year old, 140 Pounds and 5 foot 11, the second competitor is Sunda Samaki!

A man with purple hair in a messy bun and purple eyes, wearing a black cloak, grey sweatpants and black sandals.

Announcer: AAAAAAAND THE FIGHT BEGINS!
