Chapter 24: Healing

Lloyd shot a Maho bullet at Tozuki, who easily weaved out of the way. Tozuki stomped down as a panel from the floor shot up, he grabbed it and enhances it with Surge and threw it at Lloyd. Lloyd turned into smoke to dodge the panel, then shooting a smoke spike from his back which nicked Tozuki in the shoulder.

Tozuki In Head: Damn! I'm not used to the Surge version of 'God Eye' and I can't see behind me!

Tozuki held his mechanical arm out facing Lloyd. A bright orange blast shot out of his mechanical arm and it blasted Lloyd into the air, Tozuki took this opportunity to clasp his hands to together and created a green sword of Surge.

Tozuki: Zangetsu!

Tozuki jumped into the air and raised his sword, he brought the sword down and he felt it make contact but he realized somebody had caught the blade, the person then threw Tozuki to the ground.

Tozuki looked up to see a blonde man with brown eyes, he wore bulky golden armor with a red cape and leather gauntlets, he was flying in the air whilst holding Lloyd by the back of the shirt.

???: Healer, you did not tell me that a Ranker would be fighting my son

The Legendary Healer: A-A Ranker?! I doubt it, sir.

???: You think anyone weaker than a Ranker could defeat MY son?

The Legendary Healer: I-I understand sir.

The man turned to Tozuki with a stern look.

Xander: I am the #4 Ranker in the world, Xander. You have belittled my son and that is something that I cannot forgive.

Tozuki: Are you looking for a fight to?

Xander: You've got some guts for a kid, most pale in fear when they see me

Tozuki: I don't care who you are, I'll fight you regardless

Tozuki got into a fighting stance, he put his right foot forward and raised his arms to guard his chest. Xander smirked and dropped his son to the ground and rushed toward Tozuki. Tozuki's eyes glowed a bright green, and he managed to dodge a punch from Xander.

Xander: You managed to dodge one of my punches, impressive.

Tozuki punched Xander in the chest, however it did no damage. Tozuki released a barrage of punches and none damaged Xander, who had his arms crossed taking all the blows.

Tozuki In Head: Now's my chance to put Mikey's work to good use!

Tozuki internally smirked and he summoned his Surge sword, {Zangetsu}. He rapidly slashed Xander which did minor damage, quickly he held his mechanical arm out as blue fire blast out of the opening in the palm.

Xander was hit point blank by the fire and smoke surrounded the area, when the smoke cleared Xander's armor was heavily damage and he was burnt.

Xander: Damn kid, I'll have to kill you for ruining this armor

Xander grabbed Tozuki by the face and slammed him into the ground, Tozuki bounced in the air from the recoil and Xander kicked his stomach, sending him flying. Tozuki began to fall back to the ground, Xander then jumped into the air and landed a punch right in Tozuki's chest, shattering his insides.

Xander grabbed Tozuki and slammed him into the ground, with a smile on his face.

Tozuki In Head: Now!

Tozuki summoned the black sword with a red eye in the hilt in his mechanical arm and created his Surge Sword {Zangetsu} with his real arm, he quickly jumped up and slammed the sword into each other, causing a green flash of light.

Tozuki: TRUE ZANGETSU!

The light disappeared as Tozuki stood there with a sword, it looked the same as the black blade except the eye on the hilt had disappeared and the sword was green and a mystical aura engulfed the sword.

Xander: What is that weak thing? I can barely sense an ounce of Maho from it, HAHA! Try it out on me!

Tozuki's eyes returned to normal for a split second, before transforming into a shiny rainbow color, the aura of the sword changed to rainbow as well, giving off a rainbow lightning. Tozuki slashed the blade forward, it didn't hit Xander but he flinched in pain.

Xander: Heh, is that your Forza? Pretty weak for a Ranker!

Tozuki's face remained expressionless, he swung his blade a few times but none of them hit Xander. Suddenly, Xander fell to his knees in pain, he tried to stand up but was unable to.

Xander: N-Not bad, now let me up!

Tozuki: No.

Tozuki raised his blade, ready to finish Xander but he felt a kick to his back.

Lloyd: LEAVE MY DAD ALONE!

Lloyd had tears in his eyes and his hair floated in the air, he was engulfed in a green aura with an enraged look on his face. Tozuki brought his sword backwards and was going to strike down Lloyd but he heard a voice.

The Legendary Healer: ENOUGH!

Tozuki looked over to The Legendary Healer, who held a wooden staff in her hand.

The Legendary Healer: I'll heal you, so stop fighting

Tozuki nodded his head and walked over to The Legendary Healer, removing his mechanical arm. The Legendary Healer held the wooden stick and a green aura began to glow on the tip of it. The green aura flowed towards Tozuki's arm, and slowly but surely a stud grew, then growing and growing into a full arm.

Tozuki: Now my legs

The Legendary Healer: How did you get so injured if you're this powerful?

Tozuki: None of your concern, now get on with it

Tozuki removed the left mechanical leg brace and The Legendary Healer used the staff again, the same green aura flowed off of the staff and Tozuki's left leg was fixed. Tozuki removed his right leg brace but was hit in the back of the head and fell to his knees. Tozuki quickly jumped up with his left leg and saw it was Xander. Xander tapped his chest as a giant silver sword with a golden hilt popped out of his armor. Tozuki summoned his Surge Sword and the black blade, fusing them together into the combined sword.

Xander: You have gained my respect, but I can't have rumors going around how a random person beat the #4 Rank in the world!

Tozuki: It's only a rumor if it's not true, heh

Xander jumped into the air and clashed swords with Tozuki, they both slammed there swords against each other many times but neither could make contact with there body. Tozuki ducked under one of Xander's slashes and managed to thrust his blade into Xander's chest.

Xander yelled a loud roar as Tozuki's sword was shot out of his chest, Xander quickly swung his sword at Tozuki but he managed to block with his arms. Tozuki created a condensed ball of Surge and threw it at Xander.

Xander: What is that little thing going to do? Heh, I'll let it hit me

Tozuki: Soul Swipe

Tozuki swiped his hand as the small ball of Surge went right into Xander's chest and right back out, Xander's lifeless body fell to the floor with a loud thud. The small ball of Surge entered Tozuki's body as his muscles grew immensely and his leg completely healed.
