Chapter 68: No PDA on Campus

I woke up with sunlight streaming through my window. My head felt like it was split open and my tongue tasted like I licked something dead in my sleep. I moaned and rolled over to find Jasper sprawled out in my desk chair and Kento putting a cup of tea over his palm that held a yellowish-orange flame.

"Morning," he said, then closed his flaming hand, snuffing out the magic flames. "This tea will help your headache."

"Thanks." I sat up and pulled the covers up. Somehow, I was still in my uniform from yesterday, and no doubt my hair was a tangled mess, but Kento looked at me like I was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen and my whole body heated up. I took a sip of the tea and found it sweet with a hint of spicy that instantly removed the bitter taste in my mouth. "This is good."

He nodded and sat down on the end of my bed. "It's a magical potion I created when Jasper kept having hangovers from partying too much."
