"Find the core of yourself. The shadow and darkness that you try to suppress." Jasper flicked on the bedside light as the room grew dark from the setting sun outside. Then he moved aside the stack of books beside my backpack. He pulled out a few books from my backpack. "Geez, how many of these things can you read?"

"Those are from Kento, guess he pulled my textbooks from my room too." I swallowed. "What if I can't control my power to do this?" I whispered.

"You went up against a horde of dark mages. I'm sure you can handle pushing out a little dragon poison from your system." He arched an eyebrow. "Unless you'd rather wait for Nurse Jenkins?"

"Fine." I signed. "How do I do this without blowing up the school?" Or giving into the seductiveness of so much power and promise that pumped in my veins.
