3 Mr. All-Rounder

Normally, a person can't withstand dark energy into his body without meridians, so it is impossible to open meridians with dark energy. This is where the Academy plays a huge role. They provide awakening medicine to students at this event with cultivation art.

Awakening medicine contains a huge amount of energy which is rather neutralized energy than dark energy. This energy passed through certain blood veins and when reaches a point where more than ten or twenty blood veins are merged, it completely transports that place into a large space.

Cultivation Art is created to sense, control, and absorb energy. When a person remembers cultivation art, he can find a path of blood veins rather easily. Awakening medicine contains, powerful energy that can transform creates larger space inside blood veins but this is a very painful experience. The first meridian is at the naval point, second is at the forehead. So in some sense, people who can awaken both magic and the martial way can enter the second rank in just one follow. Only when meridians are opened, can absorb dark energy and transmit it to any space.

Meridians have two ends, one that is attached to the outer skin part and another one attached to space. Those who entered the Martial and Magic way can only awaken two meridians for a single time. After that, they have to go through each meridian at a time. Of course, they still got a chance to choose the last end attaching it to inner space or magic space.

In some sense, when they reach ninth rank they should have already opened nine great meridians which misbalance the number of meridians attach to space. So this is why there is a legend where a person entering Magic and Martial way can open the tenth great meridian but this is just a legend.

So foremost to awaken path, one needs cultivation art and awakening medicine provided by the academy. Each awakening medicine costs a hundred dark crystals. Although dollars are still currency used on earth that is only for the average family. For rich families, dark crystals are used as currency.

Dark crystals worth ten thousand dollars each, so in other words, one awakening medicine worth one million dollars.

So the school spends two million dollars on each student since they give two medicine to each student. This awakening medicine formula was given by an outer human. It contains various mutated herbs and some portion of dark energy. After all dark energy is the source of cultivation, so it can't be replaced. Other herbs act as a counterforce to dark energy nature.

Since the mutation of earth, everything in it has mutated including weather, plants, and all nature. People learn different professions such as Alchemy, Weapon Refiner, and Formation Master. Magical medicine is produced by alchemists. There are two conditions to be Alchemy: The person needs to be a Magician with fire magic or martial artist with beast flame and powerful mental strength.

Johnny never thought of becoming either of these. He just wants to happy strength to live. He and Rocky walked through the hallway and reach the practice hall. Behind them was Max with a gloomy look on his face. When they arrived everyone was already in the practice room. The teacher seems to be waiting for them.

The teacher was a middle-aged man with a black beard but no hair on his head. He was standing in the same clothes as every student. He looked at the arrival of Johnny and then started a speech "Students today is a major day of our academy. You all have now a chance to awaken your path. You can either awaken Magic or Martial path"

Suddenly one of the students from the back asked "Teacher, what if we awakened both?"

The teacher let funny smiles that made the student flustered for a second then the teacher explained "It is very hard to awaken both. People who can awaken both would need to be mentally and physically strong. Only then they have a ten percent chance to awaken."

When the teacher finished, everyone looked at Johnny making Johnny blush is a shame. He suddenly became the center of attention. Normally, the first of the class should be a nerd or anyone who only reads and doesn't do anything. But Johnny is different, he ranked first on every examination, he ranked first on most of in and outdoor games.

In a physical class like P.E, Judo, Karate, Taekwondo, he ranked first. He was almost an all-rounder. Suddenly remembering Johnny, even the teacher's eyes glowed. After all, in Johnny's case, there is still a chance for awakening both.

These ranks determine future potential, like if one awakens ninth-grade profound rank element, then he might have a chance to enter Magician master but if the grade is lower, then chances are lower and they will be stuck in the lower rank of cultivation.

"Okay everyone doesn't need to make such expression, you should come forward in line to receive two awakening medicine and one cultivation art. You can take time as much as you want but the problem is, you need to finish awakening in two weeks to attend Basic Training Camp." This cultivation art is high-grade profound ranks which can help you find your meridians faster and smoother." The teacher said looking at Johnny with a serious face; one could see how much he believed in Johnny.

Cultivation Art, Magic Art and Martial Art are different from each other. Cultivation Art is made in such a way that it can absorb and control dark energy. Magic Art is created to use Magic power through Mana. Martial Arts are created to use Spiritual energy to perform any kind of attack, defense, or movement.

All three types of arts are divided into the same Elements and Spiritual roots, starting from profound, spirit, earth, and finally heaven. They are further divided into four grades named: Low, Middle, High, and Top. Johnny looked teacher's serious face and nodded his head. Then he gives a slight bow to show his gratitude and leave towards the basement.
