The decision.

it is may 29,2052 and I just got a special grade weapon boy it's awesome.

(smack) "would you stop reading that trash in my ear it's sickening you know ". I said angrily.

"woah, what got you so worked up ". Lee said .

" it's nothing " (sighs) I said with a low look on my face.

" look around you kid were in the park". Lee said

"so". I had no idea what Lee was heading towards but he has always been there for me throughout my school years so I owe him big time.

what in the world did I just hear I have never heard those words coming out of his mouth before .

" look I have to go talk later". I stood up.

" yeah I need to get going too I'm late for something". we both stood up of the bench and went out separate ways, I didn't know if it was something I said or another but I just feel uneasy maybe because of what happened yesterday.

" I hope you accept our invitation Kai, come let's go Teresa".

I didn't understand what happened yesterday but that mage had a very ominous energy flowing around him, his offer to me was very generous, an invitation to join the prestigious school in the special ranks,even though I got invited to mizukan high I can't resist the offer of going to the prestigious school.

" shit I have to make my decision ". I walked to a nearby convenient store and by the time I entered the store was being robbed, I quickly hid behind a Shelf and watched as the two robbers were taking stuffs from the shop . " I need to help her ". I repeated that in my head but I could do nothing, my body was shaking in fear, I couldn't move to do anything.

" put the money into the damn bag old lady or I'll shoot ". One of the robbers shouted.

" please just have mercy on me, this shop is all I have the money I make in the shop is not nearly enough to feed me, please have mercy". the old lady said crying and begging.

( smack ) the old lady fell on the floor, why would he slap her, does he have no heart, I need to help the old lady move Kai, move goddamit.

(siren wailing) I heard the police coming, I was so relieved but when I turned to the robbers direction the robbers where holding the old lady at gun point.

" so you called the cops on us, so we're going to give you what you deserve".

( bang ) ( bang) .

" No!!!, what have you done ". I said shouting and crying.

" so there's a witness eh? ". the robber pointed his gun at me. " your turn kid ".

" put your hands in the air, this is the police".

a cop said.

" damnit we stayed too long let's go ". one of the robbers exclamated.

" I guess your right, well kiddo I guess your lucky, thank your stars ". he pressed a button on his gun then it grew bigger and more sophisticated then he pointed it at the celling.

" peace kid ". he shot the roof then it exploded then both of the robbers jumped out of the store and escaped.

( boom ) the cops burst open the doors and came in, they saw me on the floor and helped me up.

" are you okay ". the police asked.

" no ". I started crying, I had the chance to intervene but I didn't, it was all my fault, if I hadn't been scared, no if I hadn't been too weak I would have helped.

I entered my house with bruises on my body.

" Kai are you alright ". my dad said worriedly.

" I've made my decision, I'm going to join the prestigious school of mages ". I said.

" what changed your mind? ". my dad asked.

" no reason ". from now on I'll become stronger so I can help others, I won't be the weak Kai everybody thinks I am anymore.
