Prudence stared at the Mafia king and then at Lady Lilian. She did not react but sat quietly there kneeling like a good girl even though the fear on her face was trickling down with ever drop of sweat. The sight was utterly disturbing for Prudence when Vincent had also invited her to have a seat.
She took one step forward and stopped.
There was no way Prudence was going to kneel in front of him. Vincent had mentioned a game of trust but she doubted this was where he was trying to test her trust. Her eyes moved to the seat that was enough beside him but for obvious reasons Prudence chose not to sit there. She was not even as noble as Abiona and Prudence did not want to bring any indignities to others in the room that would follow up with trouble. "I'm fine here His Grace," Prudence gave a light bow.
Lady Lilian had a little smirk on her face. It was obvious who obeyed His Grace better.
