The Witches Curse

"Follow me!"

Mano said as she mad her way towards her room balcony which was as big as a normal room it's self.

Linton followed behind her as he gazed upon the beautiful woman who leaned on her balcony railing feeling the cold breeze as it blew her hair slightly.

Leaning to the railings close to her, Linton heard Mano say, "Do you believe everything that had just happened?"

She questioned and hearing that, Linton was quiat for some time.

What did she want him to say? Yes! He did believe it and at the same time wanted to know why such a thing existed.

He had only heard about witches from fairy tales and movie's but knowing that they truly exist is something that he was still finding hard to process.

Nodding his head slightly, Linton said, "Yes! I do believe!"

He stated and hearing his response, A Smirk appeared on Mano's lips as she said, "Everyone in Graceland knows about my family being that of a mafia family but what they don't know is that we are also witches!!"

"My father was a witch and my mother was a half witch and being the only daughter and child of my parents, I have the heir and lady to the Fredlock family and that brings alot of responsibilities to my life even though I know that the true task hasn't begun as we await 'The witches Curse'"

Mano said as she stood straight and made her way back into her room as she opened a brown door which leaf to a huge library belonging to her and her alone.

And as expected, Linton was behind her.

"The Witches curse? What's that?" Linton questioned as he couldn't help but run his fingers through the shelf's full of books.

And hearing that, Mano who seemed to be searching for something said, "It's a curse, for witches!"

She stated sarcastically as she then stood in front of a huge shelf and as she raised her head up, she smiled as eyes caught what she seemed to have been looking for.

Raising her hands up a little, She stared at the book she wanted and just then, red glow erupted from her hands as the book started to float, Bringing it's slef to her.

Meanwhile, Linton just stood there, not to dumbfounded since he had totally expected her to do something like that.

Placing the huge book on the table, Mano then opened to a particular chapter which was titled, "Tale Of The Witches Curse"

"So what's it about?" Linton asked as he was really curious.

And hearing that, Mano explained, "when a Witch breaks a particular rule or those something that was forbidden in the witches rule book, He/she and her entire coven will be cursed!"

Mano stated and as she then flung the pages of the book, "And what are these curses?"

Linton asked and hearing that, Mano said, " 1. "May your tongue be as sharp as a serpent's fang, and may your words be as deadly as its venom."

2. "May your eyes be blinded by the light of the full moon, and may your mind be consumed by the madness of the werewolf."

3. "May your heart be as cold as the winter's frost, and may your soul be as barren as the frozen tundra."

As Mano read out the words written in the book, Linton could already feel shivers run down his spine.

"So-so what's your solution to the curse?" He questioned.

And hearing that, Mano just sighed as she closed the book, "That's the point, No one knows the solution. All we know is that the curse shall come to life on the eclipse of the red moon!"

"Red moon?" Linton asked.

And with that, Mano explained, "Yes! The red moon, It's an Eclipse that happens to the witches World every One thousand years and according to the witches Curse, It shall begin on the eclipse of the red moon!"

Mano said as then walked towards Linton who held his breathe as she came closer, "The only way I can have a chance to stop this Curse and save my family is if I get married before the red moon eclipse!"

She stated as Linton said, "Is that why you wanted to get married to Tedo in the first place?"

He asked as Mano replied, "Yes! I wanted to marry him and finally tell him about my true identity as a witch. I thought that if he could accept my mafia identify then what couldn't he accept!"

"But I was wrong, he ended up being the person who hurt me the most and I don't even know how faith was Messing with me, I ended up with you instead!"

She said as she turned around and walked out if the library and seeing that, Linton quickly took hold of ger hand as Mano stopped Midway.

"Yes! Maybe things didn't turn out as you wanted it to, Maybe the person you loved wasn't who he really was…but the fact that I'm here now still matters!"

Linton stated as Mano turned around slowly with her face filled with confusion, "What The hell are you talking about?"

"I'm saying that, This is our faith!"
