I swam over to the other side of the pool and pulled myself up to sit, letting my legs dangle in the cool water.
I glanced up at Susan, noticing her covering her left breast with her hand and staring at me with her mouth slightly ajar. She was very easy on the eyes. Her short black skirt, now damp from the splashes, clung tightly to her skin on one side. The white blouse showed off her flat stomach and nicely rounded breasts.
I felt a stir in my groin as I watched her bend slightly to pick her notes up from the ground, her skirt riding a few inches up the back of her smooth thighs.
"Sorry about that," I said.
She looked back at me, her professional expression now back on her face. "It's okay. It's been a long day for you. It's only natural that you cool off. However..."
I noticed her gaze dropping down to the rest of my body, lingering for a moment, before quickly rising back up to meet my eyes. Her eyes closed for a second and her cheeks flushed slightly.
"You have no change of clothes, Young Master. I will go buy you something to change into."
With that, she turned on her heels and began walking away.
"Please call me Graham next time," I called out to her.
She didn't even pause, continuing into the house and then out the front door.
'Does she have a change of clothes for herself?', I thought.
I continued to swim in the pool, the water soothing against my skin as I moved back and forth, over and under the water. Swimming felt strangely familiar, as if my body remembered how to do it even if my mind didn't.
After a while, I floated on my back, staring up at the sky.
'Would the people at the university be the same as those in my previous world? How would things go?' I was a bit stressed.
Finally, I got out of the water.
Susan wasn't back yet so I took off all my clothes other than the undies and went straight to the bathroom to take a shower.
I hoped she would be back by the time I was done and sure enough, as I was taking a shower, I heard knocking on the door.
A couple minutes later, I was dressed in loose-fitting pants and a black shirt; sitting in the kitchen with a cup of coffee in hand that Susan had prepared for me. She sat on the other side of the table, glancing through her notes.
"I will need to hire an additional assistant to help with cleaning the house," Susan remarked, her tone businesslike.
I nodded in understanding, "What about the finances? It must cost quite a bit to hire you and other people as well. Who is paying for all of this?"
Susan looked up, meeting my gaze. "Oh, I almost forgot that you lost some of your memory. Pioneer Rick is paying my salary, but anything else comes from your pocket. According to my information, your uncle has been providing you with quite an allowance." She smiled warmly.
"If it's from my pocket, then I might want to clean the house by myself," I stated firmly. "There are more important things to spend my money on."
Susan looked a bit surprised by my response but quickly composed herself. "Well, alright then. We can hold back on hiring additional help," she replied, jotting down a note.
I reached into my pocket and pulled out the phone I had received at the hospital. "Also... I might need some help with unlocking my bank application and other things. I don't remember any of my passwords," I admitted, showing her the phone.
She nodded in understanding. "Someone will take you to the bank and anywhere else you need to go in the coming days," she assured me, making a note of it in her planner.
"That's all, then," I said, standing up from the table. I was ready to go to my new room.
"What about dinner?" Susan asked.
I turned to her with a raised eyebrow. "Can you cook?"
Susan hesitated for a moment before responding, "I can, but it's a bit late, and I have no ingredients. What about ordering something? What do you like?"
"Order whatever you want. I'll be in my room," I replied, making my way up the stairs.
Once in my room, I collapsed onto the bed. My muscles were sore from the day's training.
Later on, Susan delivered some stir-fried chicken rice with vegetables to my room. Before attempting to sleep, I stretched a bit to alleviate some of the soreness.
I was already preparing to sleep when someone drove by the house and moved in some of my stuff. There were way more clothes than I wore in my previous life. I always thought that 2 pairs of pants and 2 shirts were all I needed.
Despite my exhaustion, I found it difficult to fall asleep.
...
"Graham?"
I was suddenly jolted awake by someone calling my name.
"Graham!"
I blinked, trying to shake off the drowsiness, and then realized Susan was standing in the doorway of my room. She was already dressed in her business attire. I might have had something for short hair, but her hair looked incredible, volume, shinning, and all.
"I'm awake," I mumbled, quickly getting out of bed.
I was just in my underwear; Susan immediately turned around and left my room.
I hurriedly grabbed some clothes—a pair of black shorts and a long white blouse with buttons.
I came out of my room and saw that Susan already had breakfast and coffee ready for me. I felt like a king.
After eating, I said goodbye to Susan, set Harvard University in Cambridge as my destination on the GPS, hopped into the McLaren and sped away.
As I drove into the campus, students turned their heads in my direction.
I backed the McLaren into a parking space between two student's vehicles.
I didn't even make it out of the car and the crowd went from two or three to more than I could manage standing around the car, especially looking at the scarlet wing symbol at the front. There were even a few girls standing around.
When I finally stepped out of the car, a tall blonde girl approached me.
What caught my eye was that she was wearing a modest one-piece swimming suit. She had a really narrow waist. I assumed that she was part of a swimming club and had just left her training session.
Her mouth widened in a smile. "I'm Lena. Will you take me for a ride sometime?"
I have seen this girl for the first time in my life. She was pretty, but she looked like the type of girl who would snap if she didn't get what she wanted.
"Girl... you didn't even ask me for my name," I replied, before closing the car behind me and walking away to class. The crowd didn't follow, I guess they were more interested in the car.
So far, everything felt the same as in my previous life, but when I entered the building, I immediately noticed a difference. There were way more buffed guys and the girls were mostly athletic too.
I saw someone bullying a smaller guy somewhere on the side. This wouldn't usually happen at a university. Most were mature enough to not do this, but I guess it was different here.
And then, as I glanced at the billboard, I noticed another difference. Instead of invitations to join chess or art clubs, there were invitations for boxing, MMA, and calisthenics clubs.
I would think that the Mafia provided financing and encouraged students to create these sorts of clubs.
Some of the students didn't shy away from showing off their muscles, strutting in unbuttoned shirts, but the fashion was mostly the same as what I was familiar with.
I reached the office of the professor I was supposed to meet before class and opened the door.
