Chapter 5
She changed her clothes and thought she was worrying unnecessarily, she came out and walked quickly lowering her head .Someone blocked her way so she steeped sideways but that person instead of walking away moved in the same direction blocking her way again.
Adele frowned and asked him to make way for her. The man chuckled and looked like he was getting ready to make some trouble.
"How about I buy you a drink, "the man offered.
"No need, "Adele refused.
"Oh come on, will I be a gentleman if I get such a pretty girl walk out without having anything, "the man said in a flirtatious tone.
"I need to go, "Adele understood his bad intentions and if she stayed even a minute longer he will become more daring.
"Not so soon, the night is young .Let's have some fun, "the man held her wrist.
"Leave me, you bastard,"Adele tried to free herself but obviously that man had more strength.
"Just because you are a bit prettier than the rest of the girls here you don't need be so arrogant, just make me happy and in return you will be rewarded handsomely, "the man stated.
He was a frequent visitor to the night club and led a carefree lifestyle.
As soon as Adele entered the club his eyes fell on her ,she looked so young and innocent which made him more eager ,even her simple outfit couldn't hide the curves making her look more alluring.
"You have mistaken, I am not that kind of person, "Adele explained.
"So you want to play hard, I have lots of time, "the man chuckled.
He thought she was playing cat and mouse game and he loved the thrill of chasing.
"Leave my hand, otherwise I am going to scream, "Adele fumed.
"Go ahead, I will also see who will come to save you, "the man looked smug.
Adele lifted her foot to kick him but the man was a step ahead and moved back.
Adele put her full force to free herself but no avail, the man laughed seeing her struggle.
She got pissed and spitted on his face, the man's eyes turned red as no one has humiliated him such a way.
"Enough of your tantrums, now I will show you what I am capable of,"the man moved closer to her face.
She was disgusted by this man and wanted to get away from him as soon as possible and in anger she spited on him but now she was scared of him.
Adele leaned back closing her eyes and hoping for some miracle to save her.
"Step back," a loud voice came.
Adele peeked in the direction where the voice came from and could just see a tall stranger.
The man ignored the warning and was about to touch her face when the stranger spoke again.
"Didn't you hear the first time, "this time his voice was so harsh that even Adele flinched.
"What's your problem, can't you mind your work, "the man scoffed.
As Adele finally opened her eyes, she got the full view of the stranger.
She was stunned for a moment, don't know whether it's his looks or aura that made him so captivating that she forgot to blink her eyes.
He was clad in a perfectly tailored black suit which highlighted his muscular well built figure .He was standing there all straight with an air of authority ,it was when she looked at his face she stopped breathing for a second.
Never had she seen such a handsome face, high cheekbones, sharp jawline, pointed nose, thin lips and those black eyes looked so dark and cold that it gave chills all over her body. His jet black hair was neatly styled, he looked like Greek god Adonis.
"Oh, I am doing that only,"that stranger spoke having one hand in his trouser pocket.
"Got it, you too want to have fun with her .But man you need to wait as I first laid eyes on her, "the man chucked.
"You will regret saying a word more, "the stranger narrowed his eyes.
Even though there is no change in his expression his tone was so stern that made one cater to his order immediately.
Adele noticed the man loosened his grip on her and seemed a bit hesitant but still did not give up.
"Let me show you what I can do, "the man was about to kiss her but before he can touch her a punch landed on his face and he fell down making a loud voice.
Adele steeped back and rubbed her wrist as it had become red due to the tight hold.
The man fell down and his nose started to bleed, the whole club was previously so engrossed in themselves that they even refused to look at her but now they have become so silent as they watched the scene.
The man was murmuring something in pain and couldn't even open his mouth.
The stranger walked towards her ignoring everyone staring at them.
"Are you okay, "he asked.
Seeing him so near her breath got stuck, he was deviously handsome and his presence demanded attention. Instead of feeling safe Adele felt more scared by him ,in fact he had saved her from danger but there was something unsettling about him which made her feel uncomfortable.
Especially those eyes, those black eyes were so dark and soulless as if it can consume her if she stayed a minute later.
At that moment she did the one thing which she thought was best, ran away from there without even thanking the stranger. Luckily she got the bus but she did even register her surroundings, she was shaking even after reaching the orphanage.
Myra asked her something but seeing Adele not replying anything she kept quiet. That night she kept on tossing and turning and did not even sleep properly.
"What happened to you, "Myra screamed as soon as she woke up and saw Adele.
"What happened to me..,"Adele frowned and touched herself.
