Monday morning dawned bright and early. Scarlett stood outside the imposing gates of the Blackburn mansion, clutching her handbag tightly. She took a deep breath and pressed the intercom button.
"Good morning, I'm Scarlett. I'm here to start work," she announced, her voice steady despite the butterflies in her stomach.
A guard approached, looking her over with a scrutinizing gaze. "Do you have an appointment?"
"Yes, Mr. Gale is expecting me," Scarlett replied, holding out the business card Mr. Gale had given her.
The guard inspected the card, then nodded and stepped aside. "Follow me."
Scarlett followed him through the gates and up the grand driveway. As they reached the entrance, an older woman with kind eyes and a gentle smile met them.
"Welcome, Scarlett. I'm Nara, Mr. Gale's nanny," she said warmly. "Come inside."
Scarlett followed Nara into the house, marveling at the luxurious decor. The mansion was even more impressive on the inside, with marble floors, high ceilings, and ornate chandeliers.
Nara led her to a spacious office where Mr. Gale was seated behind a large desk. He looked up and smiled as they entered.
"Scarlett, welcome. I trust your journey here was smooth?" he asked.
"Yes, it was. Thank you," Scarlett replied, trying to hide her awe at the opulent surroundings.
"Good. Now, I have a special task for you," Mr. Gale began. "My son, Levi, requires a personal maid. He's very particular about his surroundings, and I believe you're up to the task."
Scarlett's eyes widened in surprise. "A personal maid?"
"Yes, someone to manage his room, his schedule, and attend to his needs. It's a demanding role, but I have faith in you," Mr. Gale explained.
Scarlett nodded slowly. "I understand. I'll do my best."
Nara smiled reassuringly. "Come, I'll show you around and explain your duties."
Scarlett followed Nara on a tour of the mansion, her nerves slowly settling as she got accustomed to the layout. The house was enormous, with multiple wings and countless rooms. Finally, they reached Levi's quarters, a suite of rooms on the top floor.
"This is Levi's domain," Nara explained. "You'll be responsible for keeping it clean and orderly. He can be a bit… difficult, but don't let that intimidate you."
Scarlett nodded, taking mental notes. "Got it. I'll do my best."

**Later that evening**
Scarlett's first day had gone smoothly. She had managed to complete her tasks without any major issues and was now preparing to clean Levi's bedroom. It was late, and she hoped to finish quickly so she could go home and rest.
As she entered the master bedroom, she marveled at the size and luxury of the space. She got to work, dusting and tidying up. She was so engrossed in her cleaning that she didn't hear the front door open.
Levi entered the room, exhausted from a long day. He didn't notice Scarlett, who was in the en-suite bathroom, and began undressing, eager to take a shower. He tossed his shirt onto a chair and unbuckled his belt, about to step into the bathroom.
Just then, Scarlett emerged, carrying a stack of fresh towels. She froze, eyes wide as she took in the sight of Levi, half-naked and clearly surprised to see her.
"Oh my God!" she screamed, dropping the towels.
Levi spun around, equally shocked. "What the hell are you doing in here?"
Scarlett's shock quickly turned to anger. "What am I doing in here? What are you doing in here?"
"This is my room!" Levi snapped, grabbing a towel to cover himself.
"Well, I'm cleaning your room! You should have knocked!" Scarlett shot back, not realizing the absurdity of her statement.
Levi's eyes narrowed. "Knocked? On my own door?"
"Yes! How was I supposed to know you'd just barge in like that?" Scarlett fumed, hands on her hips.
Levi's irritation turned into a begrudging amusement. "Do you even know who I am?"
Scarlett glared at him. "I don't care who you are. You need to respect people's privacy."
"I'm Levi. This is my house, my room, and you're my maid," Levi said, crossing his arms and smirking.
Scarlett's face turned crimson as realization dawned. "You're… you're Levi?"
"Yes," Levi replied, enjoying her discomfort.
Scarlett's anger flared again, refusing to back down. "Well, Levi, you still need to knock before you come into a room someone might be in."
Levi chuckled, shaking his head. "You're something else. Fine, I'll knock next time. Now, get out so I can get dressed."
Scarlett huffed, picking up the fallen towels. "Fine. But remember, I'm just doing my job."
As she exited the room, Levi watched her go, a bemused smile on his face. This was going to be interesting.

**Later that night**
Scarlett sat on her bed, replaying the bizarre encounter in her mind. Despite the awkwardness, she couldn't help but smile. Levi might be difficult, but she wasn't going to let him intimidate her.
Meanwhile, Levi lay in bed, thinking about Scarlett. She was different from anyone he had ever met, and he found himself looking forward to their next encounter.
As the night wore on, both Scarlett and Levi realized that their lives were about to become much more complicated. But for now, they each found a strange sense of excitement in the uncertainty of what lay ahead.
