Chapter 21

Y/n's POV.

Y/n: Another mission? I don't know guys. It's been a while.

Jungkook: I know but we have another mission that we have to complete and this one may take a bit. It's pretty important.

Y/n: What do you mean "this one might take a bit"?

Yoongi: He means it's gonna take a few days.

Y/n: Oh nooo no no no no! We can't leave for a few days! What about Minji and Damien?

Jin: Well we could take them with us...

Jungkook: Ok that one I'll have to reject.

Y/n: If this is a mission, we are not taking them with us! But I don't know how they can stay here alone.

Lisa: Jungkook, do we all need to go on this mission?

Jungkook: Yea. We need everyone.

Yoongi looks at me.

Yoongi: Ummmmm then what are we gonna do?

Y/n: Do you guys have any family that doesn't have red in their files and no record or history with any mafias?

Lisa: Well me but I haven't been in touch with them for a while so I don't know what they are up to.

Rose: I do! My sister! She is already married and has two kids too! They're about Damien's age and my parents are over with them. It's completely safe there. Mom or my sister can take care of Minji and Damien can play with the other two.

Y/n: I don't know...

Jungkook: Don't worry. I'll be fine. They'll keep the kids safe while we are gone.

Y/n: I know but don't you think it'll be a handful for them too? I mean, that's four kids that they'll have to take care of.

Rose: Here, I'll talk to my sister about it.

Y/n: When is the mission?

Jin: Next week. We'll have a week to prepare.

Tae: On the day we leave, we can drop the kids off at Jeongyeon's house.

Rose: Yeah let me call her.

Rose leaves and goes upstairs.

Y/n: So what is the mission anyways?

Jungkook: Ok so you know that we are the highest on the mafia list right? But that doesn't mean that we control all of the others. We have the big boss and his members as well. They have full control. But once they go down, the next in line, goes up. For example, us. The boss's group goes by the name, Ateez. Hongjoong is the big boss and his best mates are Wooyoung and Seonghwa.

Y/n: Ok but why are they apart of the mission?

Jin: That's the thing. We need to fly to Germany. Berlin to be exact.

Lisa: We need to retrieve a capsule before the others get it.

Y/n: What others?

Jimin: Well we aren't the only mafia there is. You've met the Tetras but they're not all. There are a lot. Some, like us, still follow and respect Ateez and the big boss but there are groups that have rebelled. Once they figure out our plans, they will stop at nothing to stop us.

Tae: In this case, if any one besides us gets the capsule, this whole mafia could go down.

Y/n: What's so important about the capsule?

They all look at each other, nervous.

Yoongi: Nuclear codes.....

My eyes grow wide.

Y/n: That couldn't only destroy the mafia, but the whole country!

Jungkook: That's why we have to get the codes and give it to the big boss to protect.

Y/n: And how do we know Ateez won't use the codes either?

Jungkook: Ateez may have some red in their files but they know that with great power, comes great responsibility. I would trust them with my life.

Y/n: Ok so besides hundreds of other mafia's coming to stop us, why is it so dangerous?

Jin: High security.

Jisoo: Its almost impossible to break into the facility.

Lisa: If we get caught, we are killed at the spot.

Jimin: Bulletproof glass around the capsule, almost unbreakable.

Y/n: ok.....then....

Jungkook: Are you sure you are up for this?

Y/n: I don't really have any other choice, do I? Besides, we have a week to get our things together. I think we are all rusty besides Jimin really.

Jimin has been continuing his mafia duties by spying and gathering info for the boss. Unlike everyone else, he hasn't had a break in a while.

Jungkook: Yeah, we have a week to get prepared, physically and mentally. Oh and y/n, we are all meeting with Ateez about that mission in three days.

Y/n: Ok so anything I need to know when I meet them so I don't get killed?

Yoongi: It's pretty simple. Show respect, bow, call the big boss "sir." You only get to address him by his real name if he gives you permission to and so far, he hasn't let anyone.

Y/n: Ok I'll just have to remember that.

Then Rose comes down.

Rose: Hey Y/n! Jeongyeon said you can drop the kids at her place. She said she will be happy to take care of them!

Y/n: Ok thanks, Rose! Ok well now that I know everything I need to know, I need to go get ready. I might do a little bit of shooting practice so Yoongi, will you keep Damien away from there? I don't want him hearing anything either.

Jisoo: Don't worry, I'll take care of him.

Jungkook: I'll go with you, y/n. I am a bit rusty too.

Jimin, Rose, and Tae: We'll tag along too!

I gave them a thumbs up and started making my way down to the shooting range with Jungkook. Once I get there, I grab a pistol.

Jungkook: Still know how to hold a gun?

I roll my eyes at him.

Y/n: When I said rusty, I didn't mean "that" rusty.

Jungkook smirks. He stands in a lane and I stand in the lane next to him. I square my shoulders and point the gun at the target. I shoot first and Jungkook shoots right after. He hits an 8. I hit a bullseye.

Jungkook looks at me, shocked.

Jungkook: Ummmm, you sure you're rusty?

Y/n: Like I said, I'm not "that" rusty. So why don't you focus on shooting a bullseye rather than me holding a gun correctly?

Jimin: Hey! We're here!

Tae looks at my target.

Tae: Woah! You're not rusty at all, are you?

Jimin: Dang! You still got it, girl!

I laugh.

Jimin puts a hand on Jungkook's shoulder.

Jimin: You've got competition!

Rose: You better work on it, Jungkook. You're not gonna get anywhere with shooting an 8.

Jungkook: yeah yeah. Whatever...

We all laugh and the others grab a gun. Rose shoots and scores a 9. Jimin shoots a bullseye and Tae shoots a 7.

Rose: and Tae is officially declared rusty.

Tae: Hey! Give me a break! I'm just a bit rusty ok?

Y/n: Ok sure Tae.

Then we hear footsteps behind us. When we turn around, Yoongi is behind us.

Yoongi: Hey Jungkook? It's the big boss. He called. He wanted to talk to you urgently.You might want to call him back.

Jungkook: Do you know what was so important?

Yoongi: I don't know. But he said to call back ASAP.
