Kain POV: (ch24)
The ride to the company is pretty silent, besides Junghee humming whatever song was on the radio. I was seated behind him, so I had a good view of Gina. She actually looked really calm, like two seconds ago she wasn't freaking out and made Vincent comfort her.
I sigh and put my head back, allowing it to roll to the left for me to look out the window. I still don't know if she trusts what I said to her earlier. Junghee most definitely believes me...which is good, but I need Gina on board as well.
I run a hand through my hair. At least they let me clean up before I was brought here.
Soon, Junghee parks the car and goes around to the other side to open Gina's door. "Come on Gina it's time," he says, holding out his hand. She takes it and steps out the door. I shove my door open and coolly walk out of the car. Junghee looks at me and shakes his head.
"Still way too confident huh?"
"Like that would change after all these years."
