He knew he made his children worried sick with his habit but how could he help it? Sake was as important as water in his life. Well, aside from his beloved family.

Right now he was waiting for a certain mischievous brat, who had made quite a name for himself.

" Son. " he said to his oldest son in his right. Marco just shot him an annoyed look.

Whitebeard shot him an amused look, before gurara-ing him loud. Marco looked more annoyed with him. Today he just broke Marco's rule of sake.

Usually he could only take a few bottle of sake because Marco was so strict about how much he took for a day. But Thatch helped him, so he could enjoy more than he should.

But none of those two looked guilty. Whitebeard loved Thatch's ways of annoying Marco. Loved how his sons interacted to showed their care and love towards each other. And Thatch loved to helped his Oyaji, especially if it could annoy a certain commander.

Marco only shook his head slowly, looked less annoyed. Whitebeard hummed, his oldest son looked in a bad mood today. Everything he did or said would only met his oldest son annoyed look or unimpressed gaze and sarcasm answers. He scratched his un-itchy head.

Whitebeard nodded, slighty worried over his sake. Marco went away and for a while it felt so peacefull. It was not too long when Marco came back, with Luffy who was wore a serious expression.

Luffy was really excited, to meet Whitebeard like when he met Rayleigh. He looked around the ship and found out that except Marco and Jozu he couldn't remember anyone else.

While he was on his way towards the towering giant Whitebeard, a bunch of side characters started yelling at him, like show respect bla bla etc.

Luffy stopped walking and glared at them. One single glace made them shut their mouth immediately.

Marco smirked, " You guys, knock it off. " So Luffy also shrugged and resumed walking. He calmed his mind and maintained a poker face.

" So, brat tell me what do you want to discuss with me? " Whitebeard asked. But first Luffy made a luxurious arm chair for him to sit before opening his mouth, " Hmm, let m--"

Whitebeard interrupted him and shouted, " Little brat, who do you think you are to sit on a equal footing in front of me? " The man demanded as Luffy frowned and got ready for a confrontation, " Old man, are you threatening me? " Luffy said without backing down.

Whitebeard stood up and attacked Luffy with his Bisento, which Luffy intercepted with his Sword of Rupture.

Whitebeard released his Haoshoku haki to enforce his strike and slashed again. Luffy also did the same. When the attack connected, the shockwaves made almost all the captains to passout.

Due to the collision of two Yonko level Haoshoku haki, the atmosphere turned very oppressive.

Luffy backed down and said, " Old man, stop this bullshit or you will injure yourself. " But Whitebeard grinned, " Gurararara...brat, don't think you can injure me that easily. "

Hearing this a sadistic grin appeared on Luffy's face. " Alright then, let me show you. I am also not a pushover. "

The space cracked like a fragile glass and finally Luffy's attack arrived in front of him. Then both of their attack collided with eachother and as a result red lightning spark travelled in all directions.

But against Luffy's prediction, Whitebeard couldn't stop ' Enuma Elish ' for that long and received the blunt power of the attack. As a result the impact knocked him back heavily.

Whitebeard flew like a cannon ball and directly collided with the backside of the ship.

He immediately afterwards got up but in the next moment vomited a mouthful of blood and sat down on the floor. Marco and the rest hurriedly rushed at him.

' Looks like, i have truly underestimated his old age. ' Luffy laughed nervously.
