Chapter 24: Smoker The Lolipop Thief......

After a deep but comfortable silence Luffy asked, " So when are you going to leave this place? "

Dragon just made a 'who knows' posture and answered, " The main reason i am here to see you off and to ensure your safety, but it seems like it is unnecessary now. "

Then Dragon stood up and looked at the gloomy sky. " Alright Luffy it's time to say goodbye. " said Dragon and vanished from his spot.

After finishing all his business he called everyone one by one and told them to return to the ship. So i decided to eat all the local foods while on my way back.

Luffy was walking leisurely towards the main dock, when he spotted a person he was very familiar with. Luffy stopped walking and started simulating all the possibilities while looking at the person in front of him.

It was Tashigi with her signature rectangular glasses with red frames and a short sleeved shirt with various colourful designs.

Currently she was pondering something while standing in front of a fruit stall.

' Should i kidnap her and solve another one of the mysteries form this world? '

Luffy had a crazy idea but he shook his head instantly and thought against it. So Luffy resumed his way towards the dock.

But suddenly Tashigi turned around and spotted him. She had a visible frown on her face after spotting me, so i increased my pace a little as i don't like to waste my time.

Soon Luffy walked further away from her and sighed in relief for his good luck. But soon his brows knitted together because he saw Smoker was blocking the path while sitting on his custom made bike.

Luffy wanted to avoid fight in order to taste some delicacies but it seems currently it was impossible.

" Monkey D. Luffy, turn yourself in. I have been appointed in this tiny town by the headquarters only because of you. So don't struggle and come with me. " Shouted Smoker and brought out his Seastone tipped Jitte.

Luffy had a mischievous grin, " Smokey be a good boy and let me pass. If you become a good boy, i will give you lots of chocolates. " said Luffy with a mocking tone.

" Bastard....how dare you mock me? " said Smoker and was about to attack me but stopped in mid way as he saw a little girl with a Yo-yo lolipop was crossing the alley.

Luffy hurriedly picked her up by her armpits and said with a kind smile, " Hey little sister, don't go there. " Then he pointed towards Smoker and said in a serious tone, " See that bad guy there, he likes this type of lolipop a lot, so he might steal this form you. "

Luffy grinned at Smoker then continued, " You see, in the future watch out for lolipop thieves like him. Now go home while i am keeping him busy here. " Luffy placed the little girl back on the ground. The little loli giggled, " Thanks uncle. " Then she ran away while tightly clutching her lolipop. The surrounding crowd also tried their best to hold their laughter but eventually failed.

" Son of a bitch....let me show you the result of insulting me. *White Blow* " Smoker roared and launched his fist towards Luffy.

Luffy shook his head and directly teleported behind him.

** Shiiing * Boom **

Luffy landed a haki coated fist from the point blank angle on his face. Smoker relaxed his guard because of his Logia power and flashed a grin towards Luffy.

But when the fist connected with his body, in front of the crowd's shocked gaze Smoker's body flew like a bullet and landed on the wall of a nearby house.

The wall crumbled like it was made of glass due to the impact. This time Luffy didn't hold back unlike against his father.

Luffy didn't wait for Smoker to recover and directly left the place. Actually Smoker lost his consciousness by this single punch.

Then Luffy decided to teach Smoker a lesson, so he made his way towards the Marine Branch building. Luffy wiped out the treasury clean and the total amount of money was 350,000,000 Belly. He was ecstatic and without a second thought exchanged the sum of money for the system credit.

After a while Smoker came out of the rubble in his Logia form.

" Wow, the Marine Captain has just fought against some pirate but he knocked him into a building with a single punch!"

" Damn he's fast, did you see how fast he moved during the fight!? "

Many people were still there, while watching from afar but still couldn't help but gossip seeing this result of the fight. Smoker had a reputation of always catching anyone he persued thus far, so this was news to them. Smoker nearly bit his cigars in two hearing the discussion around him.

Seeing Smoker's enraged gaze on them, they hurriedly left the area.

" Damn Pirate, i won't let you run away. " Shouted Smoker and started running towards the shore to catch him by any means possible.

" Hoho, this isn't necessarily possible anymore. " He suddenly heard a creepy voice behind his back.

Smoker turned around and saw a green cloaked man was standing there. But when he saw the man's face clearly he was horrified, " Yo..you are Dragon!!! What are you here for? "

He asked in a trembling voice.

Dragon smirked a little and replied, " I am here to send someone out. "

Smoker asked, " Who might that be? " Although he knew the probability of Dragon answering his question was close to zero, he still asked because it would be valuable information.

" You don't need to know. " said Dragon and vanished from the spot.

When Luffy reached the dock, everyone was already there waiting for his arrival. Luffy didn't waste anytime and told them to pull out the anchor. Then Luffy and his crew set off for their next destination.
